How we collect and verify rebate data

This page explains where the referral codes and rebate data on this site come from, how they are updated and how they are checked. The overview page and every exchange guide use the same data, so each figure exists in one version only.

Which rebate we report

We report only the exchange’s automatic fee rebate: after you sign up with a referral code, the exchange refunds part of your trading fees according to its own settings. The exchange pays it directly. You don’t apply for it, and no one else handles the money.

Two other figures are often mixed up with it, and we never present them as the invitee’s rebate:

  • The referrer’s commission rate. “Affiliates earn up to 50% commission” describes what the referrer can earn. It does not mean the invitee gets 50% back. What the invitee receives depends on how much the referrer shares, and that is the figure we report.
  • Third-party extra rebates. Some sites pay an additional rebate on top of the exchange’s. That money comes from the third party. Our referral code data excludes it, and we never add the two together.

Every figure has a date

Pages show two dates separately:

  • Rebate rate synced: the last time the automatic rebate rate was synced with the exchange.
  • Official rules checked: the last time rules such as duration and settlement were compared with the exchange’s own pages.

When an exchange doesn’t publish something (for example, several exchanges don’t say when the invitee’s rebate is paid), we write “Not published by the exchange” instead of guessing.

When an exchange pauses or changes its program

  • If an exchange pauses its program, its code and links are removed from every page automatically.
  • If a rebate rate changes, the overview, the guides, the fee examples and the page titles update together after the next sync.
  • If an official rule changes, we update the guide and its check date.

Check it yourself

The automatic rebate is an official exchange setting, so you can verify it:

  1. When signing up, confirm the referral code field shows the code from our page.
  2. Some exchanges show the rebate rate on the sign-up page; compare it with our screenshot.
  3. After signing up, check the exchange’s referral page or fund records. Each guide says where to look on that exchange.

The exchange’s current pages always prevail.
