Updated Rules checked 2026-10-22
The most common way to deposit to MEXC is to have USDT ready on another exchange or wallet, go to “Deposit” → “On-Chain Deposit” on MEXC to get an address, and send it over a network both sides support. To withdraw, go to “Assets” → “Withdraw”, enter the address, pick the network and send the funds to your own wallet or another exchange. MEXC also offers fiat channels such as P2P, Quick Buy (card payments) and USD SWIFT bank transfers; whether you can use them depends on your region and KYC level.
The mistakes that cost people money most often are choosing the wrong network, or leaving out the Memo/Tag when sending coins like XRP or ATOM. MEXC’s official guidance states that the deposit network and the withdrawal network “must be exactly the same, otherwise your assets may be permanently lost.” Recovering funds afterwards requires an application, carries a fee, and is not guaranteed to succeed.
On fees, MEXC’s official fee data lists a deposit fee of 0 for USDT on every network. Withdrawal fees depend on the network: when checked on 2026-10-22, TRC20 was 0.5 USDT, ERC20 0.094 USDT, BEP20 0.01 USDT and Plasma 0, and internal transfers to another MEXC user are also free. Below I’ve put together the Web and App steps, the fee table, arrival times and the official reasons a withdrawal gets blocked, for your reference.
Key points:
1. When depositing on MEXC, you can choose to credit funds to your Spot Account or Futures Account. Once set, every deposit goes to the same account; if funds cannot be credited to the Futures Account, they go to the Spot Account instead. Assets that have only reached the “pre-credit” confirmation count can be traded or transferred, but cannot yet be withdrawn or sent to others.
2. MEXC official fee data on 2026-10-22: USDT withdrawals cost 0.5 USDT on TRC20 (minimum 2 USDT), 0.094 USDT on ERC20 (minimum 8 USDT), 0.01 USDT on BEP20 (minimum 0.2 USDT) and 0 on Plasma (minimum 10 USDT).
3. MEXC withdrawals usually get a TxID within 1 to 60 minutes, and the “Under Review” status is expected to take 5 to 60 minutes. If there’s still no TxID after 1 hour, MEXC recommends contacting online support with a screenshot.
4. For 24 hours after you change your linked email or phone number, you cannot withdraw crypto or cash out fiat. For 24 hours after unlinking Google Authenticator, both withdrawals and fund transfers are blocked.
5. MEXC’s Primary verification allows withdrawals of 80 BTC per day and Advanced verification 200 BTC per day; neither level has a limit on crypto deposits.

How to deposit on MEXC: crypto deposit steps (Web and App)
In the MEXC interface, depositing is called “Deposit” and withdrawing is called “Withdraw”. MEXC’s official deposit tutorials for the website and the App (Web tutorial, page shows an update on 2026-08-06; App tutorial, updated 2026-09-17) give the following steps.
Deposit steps on the website
- Log in to the MEXC website and choose “On-Chain Deposit” under “Deposit” on the homepage.
- Enter the coin you want to deposit, for example USDT.
- Under “Select Network”, choose the same network as the sending platform. For example, if the sender uses TRC20, choose Tron(TRC20) here too.
- The page shows your personal deposit address; click “Copy”. For coins that need a Memo, such as XRP, the page will prompt you to fill in both the address and the Memo, and you need to take both to the sending platform.
- Start a withdrawal on the sending exchange or wallet, paste the address, and check the network and address once more. Once the block confirmations are complete, the assets are credited automatically.
Deposit steps in the App
- Open the MEXC App and log in, tap “Deposit” on the home screen, choose “On-Chain Deposit”, and you’ll land on the “Select coin to deposit” page.
- Search for the coin and, on the “Select Network” page, choose the same network as the sending platform.
- Tap “Copy” to get the address. If you’re asking someone else to send you funds, you can use “Save or Share Address” to send the address or QR code.
- Go back to the sending platform, paste the address and submit. MEXC says arrival time depends on network congestion and “usually ranges from a few minutes to several tens of minutes.”
4 things to check before you deposit
- Matching network: USDT is issued on many chains. MEXC listing a coin does not mean it supports every network for that coin. MEXC’s own example is sending USDC over the Fantom network: MEXC doesn’t support that network, so the assets will not be credited (uncredited deposit troubleshooting guide).
- Memo/Tag: for coins such as XRP, ATOM, XLM and BTS, all MEXC accounts share one deposit address, and the system uses the Memo to tell whose funds they are. If the Memo is missing or wrong, the deposit cannot be credited automatically (Memo recovery application guide). For a definition, see Memo/Tag.
- Token contract address: MEXC asks you to confirm that the sender’s contract address matches the one MEXC supports. Old tokens that have migrated contracts or been delisted may not be recoverable if sent in (What is a crypto deposit).
- Don’t use contract transfers: the official tutorial warns that “a contract transfer may cause your deposit not to be credited normally.” A regular transfer is all you need.
Minimum deposits and confirmations: MEXC’s guidance says some coins have a minimum deposit amount, and “deposits below the minimum will not be credited or refunded.” The number of confirmations also differs by coin, but the help article does not list the figures for each USDT network, so check the prompt on the deposit page. The recovery process when you send on the wrong network or forget the Memo, along with each exchange’s fees, is covered in how to recover a wrong-network deposit. For terms like deposit, withdrawal, network and confirmations, see deposit and withdrawal terms explained.
Which account does a deposit go to, and how do I move it to the Futures Account?
According to MEXC’s What is a crypto deposit (updated 2025-12-10), you can choose to credit deposits to your Spot Account or Futures Account, and once set, every deposit goes to the same account. If assets cannot be credited to the Futures Account, they go to the Spot Account automatically. Crediting happens in two stages:
- Pre-credited: after the first confirmation count is reached, the assets can be traded or transferred between your accounts, but cannot be withdrawn, sent to others, sold via OTC, used for red packets or moved between main and sub-accounts (What is pre-crediting).
- Credited: only after the second confirmation count is reached can you withdraw and send funds as normal.
To move USDT from the Spot Account to the Futures Account on the website, click “Transfer” in the order panel of the futures trading page, set the direction from “Spot Account” to “Futures Account”, choose the coin, enter the amount and click “Transfer Now”. In the App, tap “Assets” at the bottom, choose “Transfer”, set it from the Spot Account to the Futures Account in the same way, and tap “Transfer” (Web futures tutorial, App futures tutorial, updated 2026-09-29). Futures use leverage, and if the price moves against you, your position may be forcibly liquidated. For the full process, see the MEXC futures guide.
What if my deposit hasn’t arrived?
MEXC’s official troubleshooting order is: first make sure the deposit channel isn’t closed or under maintenance, then use the TxID on a block explorer to check whether the transaction succeeded and has enough confirmations, and finally check whether it appears under “Assets” → “Fund Records” → “Deposit Records” in your account (uncredited deposit troubleshooting guide, updated 2026-09-15). If it turns out to be a mistaken deposit, submit the “Uncredited Crypto Deposit” form in the Help Center:
- Cases you can apply for: depositing a coin MEXC doesn’t support, sending to a MEXC hot wallet address or with a wrong Memo, a withdrawal from MEXC to another platform that was returned, and other reasons (What is an uncredited crypto deposit, updated 2026-08-05).
- Review: MEXC says you’ll be notified of the result by email or in-app message within 1 to 2 days, while the FAQ on the same page says “review time: 8 hours,” and you can contact support to follow up after 8 hours. Difficult recoveries may take more than 21 days.
- Fee: when you submit, the fee is first frozen in your Spot Account and only deducted if the recovery succeeds; if it fails, it’s unfrozen automatically. MEXC says the fee is “not fixed.” When this site checked on 2026-10-18, hot wallet deposits, missing Memos and unsupported coins or networks were all 20 USDT.
- Thresholds: deposits below the “minimum refundable amount” (equal to the coin’s minimum withdrawal amount) cannot be processed; for more than 10 transactions, contact support directly for batch handling.
Can you buy USDT with fiat on MEXC? P2P, cards and bank transfers
The fiat channels MEXC officially lists are P2P, Quick Buy (bank cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay), local fiat deposits in various regions, and USD SWIFT bank transfers. All of them require identity verification first, and the available currencies and payment methods depend on your region:
| Channel | Official conditions and fees | Source |
|---|---|---|
| P2P | P2P trading currently has 0 fees, though payment providers may charge separately; Primary verification required; the payment account must be in your own name; after you place an order MEXC locks the seller’s coins, and if the other party asks to trade off-platform you should refuse and file an appeal | MEXC P2P FAQ |
| Quick Buy (cards) | The card guide says Visa and Mastercard are charged 2%, Advanced verification is required, the limit is 5,000 USD per transaction and 10,000 USD per day, and only EUR, GBP, USD, AED and BRL are supported; a separate 0-fee guide lists credit/debit cards among the payment methods with a long-term 0 platform fee | card purchase guide, 0-fee purchase guide |
| Local fiat deposits | SEPA in Europe, PIX in Brazil, SPEI in Mexico, PSE in Colombia, VietQR in Vietnam, QRPh in the Philippines and more | 0-fee purchase guide |
| USD SWIFT bank transfer | Advanced verification required; available only in the listed eligible regions (determined by the region on your proof of address or ID); USD deposits are 0 fee until further notice, and withdrawal fees are as shown on the page; up to the equivalent of 20,000 USD per day; the bank account name must match your verified name, and SWIFT fees charged by banks are extra | USD deposit and withdrawal guide |
Sources: the MEXC official guides in the table above (P2P FAQ 2025-09-10, card and 0-fee guides 2026-06-22, USD guide 2026-10-01), checked 2026-10-22. The two guides describe card fees differently, so go by what the order page shows; your card issuer may also charge a foreign transaction fee.
Coins bought through OTC (fiat channels) may be subject to a T+N withdrawal restriction: the default wait is 24 hours, extended when the risk is higher. During that time you cannot withdraw, make internal transfers, sell via OTC, cash out fiat or send red packets, but spot trading is not restricted. MEXC says the policy only affects users who trigger risk controls, and the 2026-10-08 version of the list of applicable countries has 33 entries (OTC T+N policy overview). For how P2P works and how exchanges compare, see the P2P trading guide; for the real cost of card purchases, see the credit card crypto fee comparison.
How to withdraw from MEXC: withdrawal steps (Web and App)
Withdrawal steps on the website
- Log in to the MEXC website and choose “Withdraw” under “Assets” on the homepage.
- Choose the coin, enter the “Withdrawal Address”, choose the “Network”, enter the “Withdrawal Amount”, then click “Submit” after confirming.
- Send and enter the email verification code, then the Google Authenticator code, and click “Submit”.
- Wait for the withdrawal to succeed. You can track its progress under “Assets” → “Fund Records” → “Withdrawal Records”.
Withdrawal steps in the App
- Tap “Assets” at the bottom of the App home screen, then tap “Withdraw”.
- Choose the coin and select “On-Chain Withdrawal” as the withdrawal method.
- Enter the “Withdrawal Address”, choose the network, enter the amount, tap “Confirm”, review the details and tap “Confirm Withdrawal”.
- Enter the email verification code and the Google Authenticator code, then tap “Confirm”, and the request is submitted.
These steps follow MEXC’s withdrawal tutorial (Web) (updated 2026-10-19) and withdrawal tutorial (App) (updated 2026-09-25). MEXC points out a few things in particular:
- For multi-chain coins like USDT, choose the network that the receiving address belongs to.
- When withdrawing a coin that needs a Memo, copy the correct Memo from the receiving platform and enter it, otherwise your assets may be lost.
- On some chains (for example XRP, HBAR, ALGO and APTOS), the receiving address must be activated first. If it isn’t, the withdrawal page shows “Address not activated”, and you need to follow the receiving wallet’s instructions first (token activation FAQ).
- If the status shows “Pending Verification”, MEXC has sent a confirmation link to your email or by SMS. Open it within 15 minutes and enter the last four characters of the withdrawal address (case-sensitive; if there’s a Memo, verify the main address, not the Memo). If it expires, cancel and resend (uncredited withdrawal statuses and solutions).
MEXC USDT withdrawal fees: fees and minimums by network
MEXC charges a fixed withdrawal fee per transaction, regardless of the amount. Its guidance says the fee is “determined by the corresponding mainnet” and may be adjusted when the network is congested, so go by the live rate shown on the withdrawal page. The table below shows the USDT data from MEXC’s fee page:
| Network | Withdrawal fee (USDT) | Minimum withdrawal (USDT) | Deposit fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tron (TRC20) | 0.5 | 2 | 0 |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 0.094 | 8 | 0 |
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) | 0.01 | 0.2 | 0 |
| Solana | 0.18 | 10 | 0 |
| Arbitrum One | 0.05 | 1 | 0 |
| Polygon | 0.0065 | 5 | 0 |
| Avalanche C Chain | 0.000074 | 4 | 0 |
| Optimism | 0.0078 | 3 | 0 |
| Toncoin (TON) | 0.017 | 8 | 0 |
| Aptos | 0.1 | 10 | 0 |
| Plasma | 0 | 10 | 0 |
| Internal transfer to a MEXC user | 0 | Not officially stated | — |
Sources: MEXC fee overview (the official public data loaded by the fee page itself, read on 2026-10-22; the same data lists 16 USDT networks in total, and the table includes only the commonly used ones) and MEXC withdrawal fee guide (internal transfers are free). Fees may change at any time, so check the withdrawal page before you withdraw.
In numbers: for 3 withdrawals of 100 USDT each, TRC20 costs 1.5 USDT in total, BEP20 costs 0.03 USDT, and Plasma costs 0. The receiving side must support the same network, though, and ERC20 also requires a minimum of 8 USDT. This table matches the MEXC figures this site compiled on 2026-10-12 and 10-21; for a comparison of 13 exchanges, see USDT withdrawal fee comparison.
How to set up the Address Book and Withdrawal Whitelist
On the website, go to your “Profile picture” in the top-right corner → “Security” → “Fund Security Settings” under “Advanced Security Settings”. In the App, go to your “Profile picture” in the top-left corner → “Security” → “Asset Security Settings” at the bottom (How to set withdrawal settings, updated 2026-10-19). There are four features:
- Withdrawal Whitelist: once enabled, you can only withdraw to whitelisted addresses. Add addresses on the “Withdrawal Address / Contacts” page by entering the coin, address, network and a label, then tick “Add to whitelist”. You can also add addresses in bulk.
- Whitelist security restriction: once enabled, a newly added whitelist address can only be used for withdrawals after 24 hours, and if you later turn this feature off, the account also has to wait 24 hours before withdrawing. MEXC recommends turning it on.
- Quick Withdrawal: single withdrawals below a limit you set skip two-step verification. A custom limit takes 24 hours to take effect, and MEXC may still require verification depending on your account’s security status.
- Withdrawal Protection: choose a lock period during which all on-chain withdrawals are rejected automatically. When setting it up, you can choose to enable “Early Unlock”.
Quick Withdrawal skips the verification codes, which also means one less line of defense if your account is ever compromised. I’d rather recommend turning on the whitelist plus the security restriction, together with 2FA and an anti-phishing code. For how to set these up, see exchange account security settings.
How do I make an internal transfer to another MEXC user?
On the website, choose the coin on the “Withdraw” page and switch to “MEXC User”; in the App, choose “MEXC Transfer” as the withdrawal method. You can identify the recipient by email, phone number or MEXC UID, enter the amount, and complete email and Google verification (withdrawal tutorial (Web)). MEXC states that withdrawals to a MEXC user’s address carry no fee and arrive quickly. To find a UID, see what an exchange UID is.
How long do MEXC withdrawals take?
| Withdrawal status | Official description | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| TR information verification | Completes in 1 to 3 minutes | Wait |
| Pending Verification | A confirmation link has been sent and is valid for 15 minutes | Open the link and enter the last four characters of the address, or cancel and resend |
| Under Review | Expected to take 5 to 60 minutes | Wait; you can cancel it yourself in this status |
| Pending Processing | If the channel is closed, it waits until the channel reopens | If the channel is open but nothing has been sent, contact online support |
| Processing | Cannot be cancelled by yourself | To cancel, contact support; MEXC doesn’t guarantee success |
| Awaiting block confirmation, awaiting packing | Already sent to the chain | Cannot be cancelled; wait for confirmations |
| Withdrawal Successful | Sent out from MEXC | If the recipient hasn’t received it, ask the receiving platform with the TxID |
Sources: uncredited withdrawal statuses and solutions (updated 2026-09-15) and How to cancel a withdrawal, checked 2026-10-22. MEXC says a withdrawal request “usually” gets a TxID “within 1-60 minutes”; after that, timing depends on blockchain congestion and the number of confirmations the receiving side requires. If there’s still no TxID after 1 hour, MEXC recommends contacting online support with a screenshot. Another article, common withdrawal issues, puts the threshold at 6 hours. Since the two articles differ, I suggest going by the shorter 1 hour and contacting support first.
Withdrawal limits depend on KYC level: Primary verification allows 80 BTC per day and Advanced verification 200 BTC per day, and neither level limits crypto deposits (individual identity verification FAQ). At the Binance BTC/USDT price of 83,765.99 on 2026-10-21, that’s about 6.7 million and 16.75 million USDT, so most people rarely hit the cap. For a comparison of limits across exchanges, see exchange withdrawal limits compared.
What if a MEXC withdrawal is stuck or fails?
When a withdrawal won’t go through or gets rejected, it’s usually one of the officially documented situations below. Work out which one applies first, then handle it through the official channels:
| Situation | Official rule | What to do | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Changed linked email or phone number | Withdrawals and fiat cash-outs are blocked for 24 hours after the change | Wait 24 hours for it to lift automatically | Change linked email, Change linked phone number |
| Unlinked Google Authenticator | Withdrawals and fund transfers blocked for 24 hours | Wait 24 hours | Unlink Google Authenticator |
| Added a whitelist address, or turned off the whitelist security restriction | With the security restriction on, new addresses wait 24 hours; after turning it off, the account waits 24 hours | Wait 24 hours | Withdrawal settings |
| Withdrawal Protection is on | All on-chain withdrawals are rejected automatically during the lock period | Wait until the lock period ends; it can only be lifted early if you enabled “Early Unlock” when setting it up | Withdrawal settings |
| KYC not completed | You may see “Identity verification is required to continue withdrawing”; people who have never submitted verification can apply for “Unable to verify – account closure”, after which only withdrawals and closing positions remain available, and the account is permanently frozen after 7 days | Complete verification, or withdraw all assets within 7 days | KYC FAQ, account closure guide |
| Coins bought via OTC under T+N restriction | 24 hours by default, extended when the risk is high | Wait for the countdown to end; if it hasn’t arrived after 72 hours, contact support with the TxID | T+N policy |
| Withdrawal channel under maintenance | When the channel is closed, withdrawals stay at “Pending Processing” | Wait for the channel to reopen | withdrawal status guide |
| Anti-money-laundering restriction triggered | Some account functions are restricted | Apply on the “Submit risk control removal documents” page and cooperate with the review | risk control removal application, account restrictions explained |
| Withdrawal to another platform was returned | Assets returned to the MEXC wallet but not credited | Submit the “Deposit to another platform returned to MEXC” form; it’s processed in 1 to 3 business days, and the returned amount may have had fees deducted by the other platform | common withdrawal issues |
Sources: the MEXC official guides in the table above, checked 2026-10-22. Also, entering the wrong login password 5 times in a row restricts login for 2 hours, and another 5 wrong attempts restrict it for 24 hours (MEXC account restrictions explained, 2026-10-12). A comparison of frozen-account handling across exchanges and the documents for appeals are in what to do if your exchange account is frozen.
Be especially careful with claims that you have to “pay to withdraw.” Every restriction above either lifts automatically when the time is up or is handled through official pages or online support, and MEXC also warns against trusting third parties who offer to help unfreeze accounts. Anyone who asks you to pay a deposit, tax or “unfreezing fee” before you can withdraw is running a scam. In Taiwan, you can call the 165 anti-fraud hotline (165 反詐騙專線) to check. For common tactics, see fake exchange withdrawal scams.
FAQ
Does MEXC charge a deposit fee?
No. MEXC’s official fee data lists a deposit fee of 0 for USDT on every network (checked 2026-10-22). What you do pay is the withdrawal fee on the sending side, charged by the exchange or wallet you send from.
Which network is cheapest for withdrawing USDT from MEXC?
In the official data for 2026-10-22, Plasma has a fee of 0 (minimum withdrawal 10 USDT), followed by Avalanche C Chain at 0.000074 USDT and Polygon at 0.0065 USDT; the commonly used BEP20 is 0.01 USDT and TRC20 is 0.5 USDT. In practice, pick the networks the receiving side also supports, then choose the cheapest one they have in common.
How long does a MEXC withdrawal take to arrive?
MEXC says a withdrawal request usually gets a TxID within 1 to 60 minutes, and “Under Review” is expected to take 5 to 60 minutes; after that, timing depends on blockchain congestion and the receiving side’s confirmation count. If there’s no TxID after 1 hour, contact MEXC online support with a screenshot of the withdrawal record.
Can I deposit and withdraw on MEXC without KYC?
As a rule, you need to complete it first. MEXC’s KYC FAQ says that unverified accounts may see messages that deposits can’t be credited or withdrawals can’t be made; P2P requires Primary verification, and card purchases and USD SWIFT require Advanced verification. People who already hold assets but can’t get verified can apply for “Unable to verify – account closure”, and after approval they must withdraw their assets within 7 days.
Do MEXC internal transfers have a fee?
No. On the withdrawal page, choose “MEXC User” (“MEXC Transfer” in the App) and enter the other person’s email, phone number or UID. MEXC states that withdrawals to a MEXC user’s address carry no fee and arrive quickly. Coins bought via OTC that are still within the T+N restriction period cannot be sent by internal transfer.
What if I sent USDT to MEXC on the wrong network or forgot the Memo?
Submit the “Uncredited Crypto Deposit” form in the MEXC Help Center to apply for recovery. MEXC says it will notify you of the review result within 1 to 2 days, and the fee is frozen first and only deducted if the recovery succeeds, but recovery is not guaranteed. When this site checked on 2026-10-18, missing Memos and unsupported networks were both charged 20 USDT.
Why can’t I withdraw after changing my phone number or email?
It’s a MEXC security mechanism: after you change your linked email or phone number, withdrawals and fiat cash-outs are blocked for 24 hours; after unlinking Google Authenticator, withdrawals and fund transfers are blocked for 24 hours. The block lifts automatically when the time is up, and you don’t need to pay anyone or use a third party.
If you haven’t opened a MEXC account yet, the referral code and sign-up steps are in MEXC referral code. For the identity verification steps and the benefits of the two levels, see the MEXC KYC guide; for spot and futures fees, see MEXC fees; and for the platform’s background and reserves, see the MEXC review. Before withdrawing, get your account security settings in order; see exchange account security settings.
