Updated Rules checked 2026-10-08
The MEXC referral code on this page comes with an automatic fee rebate of 20%. MEXC caps the share an affiliate can give invitees at 20%, so this code gives the maximum on both, and the sign-up page shows it.
As of 2026-10-24, signing up for MEXC with referral code mexc-KEVINWU gives an automatic fee rebate (fee discount) of 20%, paid by MEXC itself.

The referral rebate is a fee discount offered by MEXC itself: the exchange sets the rate and pays the refund directly. What follows is information I compiled for reference.
Why does this MEXC referral code give the maximum rebate?
When MEXC launched customizable commission sharing in 2024, it said affiliates can share up to 20% with invitees, with separate rates for spot and futures (MEXC announcement). MEXC’s 2026 affiliate portal guide gives the same 20% maximum. (Official pages checked on 2026-10-08.)
This code’s automatic fee rebate is currently 20%, and the sign-up page shows the spot and futures rates separately.
Where does MEXC show the referral rebate rate at sign-up?
After you enter the referral code, the MEXC sign-up page shows the fee sharing rate for spot and futures. Compare it with the screenshot before you register.

Adding a code to an existing MEXC account
You can, within a time limit. The MEXC affiliate FAQ says you can add and bind an invitation code within 30 days of registration, through customer service or the self-service function; once bound, a code can’t be changed or removed (MEXC affiliate FAQ).
If your account is less than 30 days old and has no invitation code yet:
- Confirm the account is under 30 days old and has never been bound to a code.
- Use MEXC’s self-service function or contact official customer service to add an invitation code.
- Enter this code (see the details at the end), check it, and submit. It can’t be changed afterwards.
How do you confirm your MEXC rebate is arriving after signing up?
MEXC’s affiliate portal guide says the invitee’s share appears in Capital History, settled and paid the day after the trade.
How is the MEXC referral rebate calculated?
The rebate is a share of the trading fees you pay, not of your trading volume. MEXC’s referral rules define net trading fees as fees minus bonuses and discounts, so if you pay with MX or get another discount, the rebate is based on the discounted fee.
MEXC standard fees
| Market | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|
| Spot | 0% | 0.05% |
| USDT perpetual futures | 0% | 0.02% |
These are the rates for the main BTC and ETH pairs from MEXC’s official API (checked on 2026-10-08). Some pairs differ; the MEXC fee page prevails. Maker orders are currently fee-free, and fee-free trades earn no rebate, so the rebate comes mainly from taker trades.
Example: USDT perpetual futures (taker 0.02%)
| Monthly volume | Fees (0.02%) | Auto rebate (20%) | Net fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10,000 USDT | 2 USDT | 0.4 USDT | 1.6 USDT |
| 100,000 USDT | 20 USDT | 4 USDT | 16 USDT |
| 1,000,000 USDT | 200 USDT | 40 USDT | 160 USDT |
Example at a futures fee rate of 0.02% and the current 20% automatic rebate (rate updated 2026-10-24). Your exchange statement prevails.
Example: spot (taker 0.05%)
| Monthly volume | Fees (0.05%) | Auto rebate (20%) | Net fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10,000 USDT | 5 USDT | 1 USDT | 4 USDT |
| 100,000 USDT | 50 USDT | 10 USDT | 40 USDT |
| 1,000,000 USDT | 500 USDT | 100 USDT | 400 USDT |
Example at a spot fee rate of 0.05% and the current 20% automatic rebate (rate updated 2026-10-24). Your exchange statement prevails.
Which trades earn no rebate
- Pairs in zero-fee campaigns, and fee-free maker orders.
- Fees offset with futures bonuses.
- API trades.
- Deposit and withdrawal fees.
- Abnormal trading and self-invitation.

MEXC sign-up bonuses (new-user tasks, trial funds) vs the referral code rebate: what’s the difference?
MEXC’s new-user tasks, trial funds and vouchers are one-off promotions. You usually have to complete tasks such as identity verification, a deposit or a trading volume target to get them; amounts and conditions change from campaign to campaign and they expire, so the campaign page and its terms are what count. The referral code rebate is bound at sign-up, and from then on a share of every fee you actually pay is refunded automatically. It’s separate from the sign-up bonus, so you don’t have to choose one or the other.
MEXC’s new-user rewards are mostly handed out through campaigns, as futures bonuses, position airdrops and fee deduction vouchers. MEXC says the “amounts vary”, and eligibility is checked daily against each user’s conditions. Futures bonuses can only be used on USDT-M futures (including copy trading and grid trading) and are usually valid for 15 days. MEXC states that “the futures bonus itself cannot be transferred or withdrawn”; profits can be withdrawn, and if you move assets out of the futures account before the bonus is used up, the bonus is reset to zero (MEXC bonus and voucher guide, published 2026-09-21, checked 2026-10-15). The same article states that fees covered by bonuses and deduction vouchers get no rebate. For the full comparison, see fee vouchers vs referral code rebates.

Where MEXC isn’t available
MEXC’s terms list countries it doesn’t serve, including North Korea, Cuba, Sudan, Iran, mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, the Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Sevastopol), Canada and sanctioned territories. The list changes; the MEXC terms prevail (version updated 2025-05-29).
Common questions
Where do I enter the MEXC referral code?
On the sign-up page. If you open the referral link in a browser and sign up there, the code is applied automatically; if you sign up in the app, tap ▾ to expand the field and enter it. Once it’s entered, the sign-up page shows the “fee sharing rate”; check the spot and futures figures before you submit.
Are the spot and futures rebates the same?
Not necessarily. MEXC lets affiliates set spot and futures separately, and after you enter the referral code the sign-up page shows both rates.
This code is currently 20%; the figure shown on the sign-up page is what counts.
When does the rebate arrive?
MEXC settles and pays it the day after the trade; you can see it in Capital History.
I forgot to enter the code at sign-up. What now?
Accounts under 30 days old that have never bound a code can add one through customer service or the self-service function.
Do I still get a rebate if I pay fees with MX?
Yes, but it is based on the fee you actually pay after the MX discount, so the amount is smaller.
How can I check whether my MEXC referral code is bound?
Go to My Invites → My Referrer. MEXC states that once you’re bound to a referrer, this page shows the referrer’s information; if there’s nothing there, you aren’t bound yet, and you can still bind a code within 30 days of registration. Rebate credits appear in Capital History. How to check on each exchange is covered in how to check whether your referral code is bound.
What are MEXC’s trading fees?
For regular users, spot is 0% maker and 0.05% taker, and USDT perpetual futures are 0% maker and 0.02% taker; turning on MX Deduction gives 20% off. Maker orders are fee-free, so the rebate only comes from taker orders. Pairs with special rates, how futures fees are calculated and withdrawal fees are covered in the MEXC trading fees guide.
Is MEXC safe?
According to the records compiled on this site, there are no major public incidents of theft from MEXC’s platform wallets (as of 2026-10-12), but there was an account-freezing dispute in 2025, and MEXC apologized and unfroze the funds on 2025-10-31. A MEXC press release from late September 2026 put its protection fund at 100 million USDT plus 2,000 BTC; in the 2026-09-10 proof of reserves, the BTC reserve ratio was 297%. The full record is in the exchange safety record, and reserve ratios across exchanges are in exchange proof of reserves compared.
