Updated Rules checked 2026-10-22
The simplest way to deposit on Bitget is to have USDT ready on another exchange or in a wallet, then open Bitget’s “Deposit” page, choose the same network, copy the address and send the funds over. If you don’t have USDT yet, you can also buy it directly on Bitget with a credit card, a third-party payment provider or P2P. To withdraw (cash out), choose “On-chain withdrawal” on the “Withdraw” page and send the coins to your own wallet or another exchange; to send funds to another Bitget user, you can use “Internal transfer,” which is free and arrives instantly. The mistakes most likely to cost you money are choosing different networks on the two ends, or leaving out the Memo/Tag on a coin that needs one. Bitget states that using an incorrect network “may result in permanent loss of funds.”
On fees, Bitget charges nothing for deposits and a fixed amount per withdrawal. When I read Bitget’s official coin API on 2026-10-22, a USDT withdrawal cost 0.01 USDT on BEP20, 1.5 USDT on TRC20 and 2 USDT on ERC20, and the minimum withdrawal was 5 USDT on all 12 networks. Of the 13 exchanges this site compared on 2026-10-12, 9 charge less on ERC20 than on TRC20; Bitget is not one of them.
Below, in order: the deposit steps, which account your funds land in, the fiat deposit options, the withdrawal (cash-out) steps and fee table, and finally the reasons Bitget lists for stuck withdrawals and how to deal with each one.
Key points:
1. Since 2024-01-01, Bitget requires identity verification before you can deposit crypto or trade; before withdrawing, you also need to set up Google Authenticator.
2. On 2026-10-22, Bitget supported USDT on 12 networks, none of which needs a Memo/Tag. The minimum deposit is 0.01 USDT on most of them, 0.5 USDT on ERC20 and 0.1 USDT on Plasma; deposits below the minimum are not credited.
3. USDT withdrawal fees: 0.01 USDT per withdrawal on BEP20 and Morph, 1.5 USDT on TRC20 and 2 USDT on ERC20, with a 5 USDT minimum on every network. Bitget states that withdrawal fees are adjusted according to network conditions.
4. Internal transfers go to the recipient’s email address, phone number or UID, are free, arrive instantly and can’t be canceled once confirmed.
5. After you reset your password or fund password, change 2FA, or change your email or phone number, withdrawals are restricted for 24 hours; after you log in on a new device, withdrawals from that device are restricted for 1 hour.
The information below was checked against official pages on 2026-10-22 (fact-check date) and is provided for your reference.
What do you need before depositing on Bitget?
- Complete identity verification (KYC): Bitget’s individual verification FAQ states that since January 1, 2024, you must complete identity verification to deposit crypto and trade; once verified, VIP 0 users can withdraw 3 million USDT every 24 hours. For the steps, see the Bitget KYC guide.
- Set up Google Authenticator: Bitget’s official withdrawal guide states that you need to set up Google Authenticator (GA) before withdrawing, and your account must also be linked to an email address or phone number.
- Check your account mode: Bitget has two account modes, the Classic Account and the Unified Trading Account, and deposits and withdrawals go through different accounts in each. The section “Which account does a deposit go to?” below explains how.
How to deposit USDT on Bitget: web and app steps
On Bitget, crypto deposits are made from the “Deposit” page. The steps below are based on Bitget’s 2024-06-26 website deposit guide and app deposit guide.
Depositing on the website
- After logging in, click the profile icon in the top-right corner and select “Deposit.”
- Choose the coin you want to deposit, for example USDT.
- Choose the network; it must match the network the sender uses. Bitget’s example: if you send USDT over Ethereum, choose ERC-20.
- Choose the destination account, such as “Spot Account” or “Funding Account”; the assets appear directly in that account once they arrive.
- Click “Copy address” or scan the QR code, paste the address into the wallet or exchange you’re sending from, and check that both sides use the same network.
- Submit the transfer and wait for network confirmations; once complete, the assets appear on Bitget’s “Assets” page.
Depositing in the app
Open the Bitget app, tap “Deposit” at the top of the screen, then choose “Deposit crypto.” Next, search for or scroll to the coin, choose the network and the destination account, and tap “Copy address” or scan the QR code; the rest is the same as on the website. Bitget adds two reminders: go back to the deposit page and check the current address before every deposit, because Bitget may generate new addresses periodically and using an expired old address may cause irreversible losses; and a blockchain transaction can’t be canceled once it has been sent.
Which USDT network should you choose? Minimum deposits and confirmations
The table below lists the USDT networks shown by Bitget’s official coin API on 2026-10-22. Confirmations are the number of block confirmations a deposit needs before it is credited, and more confirmations usually mean a longer wait. How many minutes it actually takes is not stated officially; it depends on each chain’s block speed and congestion at the time.
| Network | Minimum deposit (USDT) | Deposit confirmations | Memo/Tag |
|---|---|---|---|
| TRC20 (Tron) | 0.01 | 3 | Not required |
| ERC20 (Ethereum) | 0.5 | 12 | Not required |
| BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain) | 0.01 | 15 | Not required |
| Solana | 0.01 | 5 | Not required |
| TON | 0.01 | 10 | Not required |
| Polygon | 0.01 | 60 | Not required |
| Arbitrum One | 0.01 | 12 | Not required |
| Optimism | 0.01 | 50 | Not required |
| Avalanche C-Chain | 0.01 | 60 | Not required |
| Aptos | 0.01 | 10 | Not required |
| Plasma | 0.1 | 10 | Not required |
| Morph | 0.01 | 64 | Not required |
Source: Bitget official coin API, read on 2026-10-22. Network availability and figures change; before you send, go by what the deposit page shows.
Two things need special attention. First, Bitget’s article on deposits not credited states that deposits below the minimum amount are not credited and these funds “cannot be processed”; if you send a small test amount over ERC20 first, it must be at least 0.5 USDT. Second, USDT doesn’t need a Memo/Tag, but coins such as XRP, EOS and XLM do. If you leave it out, you have to apply through the “Recover missing deposit” option on the deposit page or through the support form; Bitget says this generally takes 10 business days, a fee may be charged, and recovery is not guaranteed (recovering deposits with a missing tag). What to do after choosing the wrong network is covered in how to recover a wrong-network deposit, and terms such as network and confirmations are explained in deposit and withdrawal terms and rules.
Which account does a deposit go to, and how do you transfer it to futures?
Classic Account: when you deposit, you can choose the Spot Account or the Funding Account yourself. To trade futures or margin, first use “Transfer” to move the assets over. On the website, click the profile icon in the top-right corner and select “Transfer”; in the app, tap “Assets” at the bottom, then “Transfer.” Choose the source account, destination account, coin and amount, then tap “Confirm”; Bitget states that transfers are processed instantly (website transfer guide, app transfer guide). Moving funds out of a margin account affects its margin ratio, and Bitget warns that this may trigger liquidation.
Unified Trading Account: according to the 2026-09-21 Unified Trading Account FAQ, after the upgrade your former Spot Account becomes the Funding Account, which handles deposits and withdrawals, and your former margin and futures accounts are merged into the Unified Trading Account. During the upgrade the account is temporarily frozen: you can’t transfer, trade or withdraw, though deposits are not affected. In addition, assets with a balance below USD 0.10 that haven’t changed for 24 consecutive hours are automatically moved to the Funding Account every 7 days.
When you withdraw, note that Bitget’s article on withdrawal restrictions says you “can only withdraw available funds in your Spot Account”; after you switch to the Unified Trading Account, it is the Funding Account that handles withdrawals. Coins held in futures, Earn products, copy trading or open orders must be released and transferred back before you can withdraw them.
No USDT yet? Bitget’s fiat deposit options
Bitget’s blog guide to buying crypto with fiat (2024-12-12) says that “Quick Buy” offers options including credit or debit cards, bank transfer, P2P and third-party payments, covering more than 120 fiat currencies. Which methods and which fiat currencies you can use depends on your region of residence and verification status; go by what the order page shows:
- Credit/debit cards: the Bitget buy crypto page lists Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Bitget doesn’t publish a fixed card fee rate; the fee is shown on the order confirmation page. If you have a usable fee discount coupon, select it before you confirm the order, because it can’t be applied afterwards (how to use discount coupons). In the app, the path is your assets on the “Funding” page, then “Buy/Sell,” then debit/credit card.
- P2P: you must first complete KYC and link a phone number. Bitget charges no P2P trading fee, though payment providers may charge their own fees; after you place an order, the platform holds and locks the seller’s coins in escrow and releases them only once both parties have met the conditions (introduction to Bitget P2P trading). Users can buy up to 3,000,000 USDT a day via P2P, and up to 30,000,000 USDT each per week and per 30 days, calculated in UTC+8 (P2P limits).
- Bank transfer and third-party payments: some fiat currencies can be deposited by bank transfer, such as SEPA in the eurozone, and Bitget requires the identity details on the SEPA account and the Bitget account to match. Third-party payments are processed by external providers, and the fees and exchange rates depend on the provider.
How much buying with a card costs compared with a spot order is covered in credit card crypto fees; for the P2P process and how to file an appeal, see the P2P buying guide.
How to withdraw USDT from Bitget: cash-out steps
Cashing out on Bitget is done from the “Withdraw” option in the website menu. The steps below are based on Bitget’s 2024-06-22 website withdrawal guide and mobile app withdrawal guide.
Withdrawing on the website
- Click the profile icon in the top-right corner and select “Withdraw.”
- Use the search bar to find the coin you want to withdraw and select it.
- Paste the recipient address (or scan the QR code), choose the network and enter the amount; the page shows the fee and the amount that will actually arrive.
- Check the coin, address, network and amount, click “Withdraw,” then complete the security verification, which may include an email confirmation, a Google Authenticator code and an SMS code.
- Check the status under “Deposit/Withdrawal history” on the left side of “Assets Overview.”
Withdrawing in the app
Tap “Assets” at the bottom of the screen, select “Withdraw,” tap the coin you want to withdraw, then select “On-chain withdrawal”; the address, network, amount and security verification are the same as on the website. To find your withdrawal history, go to “Spot” at the top of the “Assets” page, tap the “History” icon and select “Withdrawal” from the drop-down list. You can save frequently used recipient addresses in the Address Book and use them with the whitelist described below.
What are Bitget’s USDT withdrawal fees and minimums?

| BEP20 | 0.01 | 5 | 0.01% |
| Morph | 0.01 | 5 | 0.01% |
| Plasma | 0.012 | 5 | 0.012% |
| Optimism | 0.014 | 5 | 0.014% |
| Aptos | 0.03 | 5 | 0.03% |
| Avalanche C-Chain | 0.04 | 5 | 0.04% |
| Polygon | 0.07 | 5 | 0.07% |
| Arbitrum One | 0.1 | 5 | 0.1% |
| TON | 0.15 | 5 | 0.15% |
| Solana | 0.5 | 5 | 0.5% |
| TRC20 | 1.5 | 5 | 1.5% |
| ERC20 | 2 | 5 | 2% |
Source: Bitget official coin API, read on 2026-10-22, when all 12 networks were open for withdrawals. Bitget’s deposit/withdrawal fee explanation states that withdrawal fees are adjusted according to blockchain network conditions and that the exact amount is the one shown on the withdrawal confirmation page; the full fee schedule is also listed on the Bitget fees page.
The fee is a fixed amount per withdrawal, so withdrawing 50 USDT costs the same as withdrawing 5,000 USDT. Using the 2026-10-22 figures and assuming one withdrawal a month, 12 a year: TRC20 costs 18 USDT in total, ERC20 24 USDT, and BEP20 only 0.12 USDT. Whether you can use a cheaper network depends on the recipient: first check that their deposit page offers the same network, then pick one of the networks both sides support. For a comparison of USDT withdrawal fees across exchanges, see USDT withdrawal fees compared.
How do you set up the whitelist, withdrawal cancellation and cross-device confirmation?
On the website, click the profile icon in the top-right corner, select “Security Center” and find “Withdrawal settings”; in the app, tap the “Main menu” in the top-left corner, tap the profile icon to open the user center, select “Security Center” and scroll down to “Withdrawal settings.” There are four features here (withdrawal settings guide, 2024-12-31):
- Whitelist: you can only withdraw to addresses saved in your Address Book.
- Password-free withdrawal: small withdrawals to pre-set trusted addresses don’t require your fund password; Bitget’s guide doesn’t give a specific figure for the limit.
- Withdrawal cancellation: you can cancel within 1 minute of submitting, and the funds stay in your Bitget account.
- Cross-device withdrawal confirmation: a withdrawal address entered on the website must be confirmed in the app, which protects against address hijacking.
Other settings, such as the anti-phishing code and authenticator backup, are covered in exchange account security settings.
Sending to another Bitget user: Internal Transfer
On the “Withdraw” page (in the app, “Assets” → “Withdraw”), select the coin and switch to “Internal transfer.” Enter the recipient’s Bitget-registered email address, phone number or UID, enter the amount, complete the security verification and click “Withdraw.” Bitget’s internal transfer guide states that this feature is completely free and arrives instantly; once confirmed it can’t be canceled, and a transfer to the wrong recipient can’t be reversed either, so check everything again before you submit.
How long do Bitget withdrawals take?
Bitget states that “most withdrawals are processed within minutes”; network congestion, additional security checks or manual review of large transactions can make it take longer. After Bitget sends the withdrawal, the blockchain still has to confirm it before the recipient is credited. Withdrawal statuses are pending, processing, successful, failed and canceled (canceled within 1 minute). If the status shows “Successful” but the recipient hasn’t received the funds, use the TxID in the record to check the confirmation progress in a blockchain explorer, then contact the recipient (withdrawal status guide). After verification, the limit is 3 million USDT per 24 hours at VIP 0 and 20 million USDT at VIP 7; for a comparison with other exchanges, see exchange withdrawal limits compared.
What to do if a Bitget withdrawal is stuck or fails
Bitget’s article on withdrawal restrictions lists seven categories of reasons. I’ve put the timeframes and fixes it gives into the table below:
| Reason | What Bitget says | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You reset your password or fund password, reset or changed 2FA, or changed your email or phone number | Withdrawals restricted for 24 hours | Wait 24 hours, then withdraw |
| Login on a new device | Payments and withdrawals from that device are restricted for 1 hour; devices used before are not affected | Wait 1 hour, or use a device you’ve logged in on before |
| Unusual activity detected | Withdrawals may be restricted for 24 hours; if the account is flagged for a security review, assets may be temporarily frozen | Check the notification center first; if you can’t find the reason, submit a ticket |
| KYC not completed or under review | No withdrawals until approved; Bitget says review usually takes 24 hours | Complete identity verification or wait for it |
| Insufficient available balance | Coins in open orders, P2P, copy trading or Earn must be released first; trial funds can’t be withdrawn | Cancel open orders and redeem Earn products, then transfer the funds back |
| Amount below the minimum withdrawal, wrong address or tag | With a wrong address the system shows “Please enter a correct address”; coins such as XRP and EOS need the correct tag/memo | Check that the address matches the selected network |
| Withdrawal limit exceeded | Limits depend on VIP level | Raise your VIP level |
| Network upgrade or wallet maintenance | Withdrawals on that network are suspended | Check the deposit/withdrawal announcements and withdraw after it resumes |
Sources: Why is my withdrawal restricted or suspended? (2024-03-29) and Why are my assets frozen? (2024-12-31), checked on 2026-10-22.
Platform-wide suspensions also happen. On 2026-09-24, abnormal outflows from Bitget’s hot and warm wallets led its risk control system to suspend withdrawals across the platform at 19:05 (UTC). USDT withdrawals resumed on 09-30 at 08:00 (UTC), and other coins, fiat and P2P resumed on 10-02 at 08:00 (UTC); deposits and trading continued as normal throughout (Bitget incident page). In a situation like this, go by the resumption time in the official announcement.
If you can’t find the cause yourself, look for related messages in the notification center, then submit a ticket with the TxID, the error message and a screenshot of the withdrawal record. For inquiries about deposits not credited, Bitget says most get a reply within 24 to 48 hours, and complex cases such as recovering unsupported tokens can take up to 10 business days. The full steps for restricted or frozen accounts are in what to do if your exchange account is frozen.
Anyone who asks you to pay an “unfreezing fee,” a “security deposit” or “taxes” before you can withdraw is running a scam. Bitget’s anti-fraud guide states that its staff will never ask for your password, two-factor authentication codes or private keys, and you can confirm someone’s identity through Bitget’s official verification channel. If you run into something suspicious in Taiwan, you can call the 165 anti-fraud hotline (165 反詐騙專線). Common tactics are covered in fake exchange withdrawal scams.
FAQ
Does Bitget charge deposit fees?
No, Bitget doesn’t charge deposit fees. When you transfer in from another exchange, the sending platform usually charges a withdrawal fee; when you transfer from your own wallet, you may have to pay a blockchain network fee, which is not charged by Bitget.
How long do Bitget deposits take?
Bitget credits a USDT deposit once it reaches the number of confirmations required for that network; Bitget doesn’t state a fixed number of minutes. According to the official API on 2026-10-22, TRC20 needs 3 confirmations, ERC20 12 and BEP20 15. It takes longer when the network is congested, and you can check the current confirmation count with the TxID in a blockchain explorer.
Which network is cheapest for withdrawing USDT from Bitget?
On 2026-10-22, the cheapest networks for withdrawing USDT from Bitget were BEP20 and Morph, at 0.01 USDT per withdrawal; TRC20 was 1.5 USDT and ERC20 2 USDT. This assumes the recipient supports the same network; choosing the wrong network may mean the funds never arrive.
What is Bitget’s minimum withdrawal?
On 2026-10-22, Bitget’s minimum USDT withdrawal was 5 USDT on all 12 networks. Minimums for other coins vary and are shown on the withdrawal page once you select the coin.
Can I cancel a Bitget withdrawal after submitting it?
Only if you’ve turned on “Withdrawal cancellation” beforehand can you cancel a Bitget on-chain withdrawal within 1 minute of submitting it; the funds then stay in your account. If the feature is off, or the withdrawal has already been processed, it can’t be canceled; an internal transfer also can’t be canceled once confirmed.
Why can’t I withdraw from Bitget?
The most common reason is a recent change to your Bitget security settings: after you reset your password or fund password, change 2FA, or change your email or phone number, withdrawals are restricted for 24 hours, and after a login on a new device, that device is restricted for 1 hour. Other reasons include KYC that hasn’t been approved yet, coins tied up in open orders or Earn products, an amount below the minimum withdrawal, and maintenance on that network.
What if I deposited to Bitget on the wrong network?
First stop sending to that address, then submit a request through “Recover missing deposit” on Bitget’s deposit page, with the TxID, the deposit address and the amount. Bitget states that not every network can be recovered, a fee may be charged, and complex cases take 10 business days or more; if the coins went to an address on another exchange or in a third-party wallet, Bitget can’t help and you need to contact the receiving platform (deposits of the wrong token or on the wrong blockchain).
Can I deposit on Bitget without KYC?
No. Since January 1, 2024, Bitget requires identity verification before you can deposit crypto or trade. P2P also requires KYC and a linked phone number first; for review times and common reasons verification fails, see the Bitget KYC guide.
If you don’t have an account yet, the sign-up steps are in Bitget referral code and identity verification is in Bitget KYC; spot and futures fees and VIP levels are covered in Bitget fees, and reserves, security record and restricted regions in Bitget review. Before you transfer USDT to futures, you may want to read the Bitget futures guide; for your account’s withdrawal whitelist and 2FA settings, see exchange account security settings. For deposit and withdrawal guides on other exchanges, see how to deposit and withdraw on Binance and how to deposit and withdraw on OKX.
