Updated Rules checked 2026-10-22
The most direct way to deposit on Bybit is to buy USDT on another platform, copy the address from “Assets” → “Deposit” on Bybit, and send it in. If you don’t have any crypto yet, you can buy through Bybit’s own One-Click Buy (bank card or third-party payment) or through P2P. To withdraw, go to “Assets” → “Withdraw” and send to your own wallet or another exchange; to send to another Bybit account, use Internal Transfer, which is free.
Bybit has no automatic exchange rebate. This extra rebate is paid by Fee Otter, not by the exchange and not by Kevin Wu; the rate is whatever Fee Otter's page shows (checked 2026-10-22).
Two mistakes cost people money most often: the sender and the receiver pick different networks, or the Memo/Tag is left out for coins such as XRP or tokens on the TON chain. Bybit states that a deposit made on a chain not listed on the page may be lost permanently, and recovering a deposit with a missing Memo costs 5 times that coin’s withdrawal fee.
Below, based on the Traditional Chinese pages of Bybit’s Help Center, are the deposit and withdrawal steps on the website and in the app, USDT withdrawal fees by network, Internal Transfer, arrival times, and the reasons Bybit lists for a withdrawal getting stuck.
Key points:
1. Bybit charges nothing for on-chain deposits or Internal Transfers; on-chain withdrawals carry a fixed fee per withdrawal that doesn’t depend on the amount (Bybit Fees You Need to Know).
2. Deposits go to the Funding Account by default. You can switch the destination to the Unified Trading Account or the Earn account on the deposit page or in “Preferences”. If you got the deposit notification but can’t see the funds, check the Unified Trading Account first.
3. In Bybit’s official data as of 2026-10-12, the USDT withdrawal fee is 1.3 USDT on TRC20 (minimum withdrawal 2.6), 0.8 USDT on ERC20 (minimum 6) and 0.15 USDT on BEP20 (minimum 10).
4. Nine actions, including changing or resetting your password and unbinding Google Authenticator, trigger a 24-hour withdrawal restriction that covers on-chain withdrawals, Internal Transfers, fiat withdrawals and P2P trading.
5. Accounts without KYC can withdraw up to 20,000 USDT a day and 100,000 USDT a month; Standard KYC allows 1 million USDT a day and Advanced KYC 2 million USDT a day. The daily limit resets at UTC 00:00 (8:00 a.m. Taiwan time).
The information below was checked against official pages on 2026-10-22 (fact-check date) and is shared for reference.
How to deposit on Bybit: crypto deposit steps
These steps follow How to Make an On-Chain Crypto Deposit to Bybit (official, updated 2026-08-14); the names in quotes are the buttons the guide mentions. Bybit’s own Chinese pages use two different words for “deposit”; both refer to the same thing.
- Open the deposit page: on the website, hover over “Assets” at the top right of the home page and click “Deposit”; in the app, tap “Assets” at the bottom right, then “Deposit”.
- Choose the coin, for example USDT.
- Choose the chain (network). The page then shows Bybit’s deposit address and QR code for that chain, plus the Memo/Tag for coins that need one.
- On the platform or wallet you’re sending from, paste the address, pick the same network, and fill in the Memo/Tag if needed. If you use the QR code, Bybit reminds you to check the address once more before sending.
- Confirm which account receives the funds: the default is the Funding Account. You can pick the Funding Account, Unified Trading Account or Earn account right on the deposit page, or change the account deposits go to automatically under “Preferences”.
Which network should you deposit on, and which coins need a Memo?
The network the sender picks must match the Bybit deposit page exactly, and it must be a chain listed on that page. The Crypto Deposit FAQ (official, updated 2026-08-14) states that depositing a coin or chain not listed on the page may lead to permanent loss of the tokens. Apart from ETH sent via ERC-20 smart contract, deposits made through smart contracts are not supported for any token, for example USDT on TRC-20.
For Memo/Tag, Bybit names XRP, EOS, XYM, RUNE and the TON chain. For these coins every Bybit account shares the same deposit address, and the Memo tells Bybit whose money it is; if it’s missing or wrong, the deposit won’t be credited. To fix it, you file a self-service request: the guide to recovering a missing Tag/Memo (official, updated 2026-10-16) puts the fee at 5 times that coin’s withdrawal fee, and it doesn’t accept transactions older than 180 days or made before 2024-01-22. Bybit’s own example: the XRP withdrawal fee is 0.25 XRP, so the recovery fee is 1.25 XRP; the minimum withdrawal is 20 XRP, so deposits of 21.25 XRP or less don’t qualify for recovery.
Sending a coin or chain that Bybit doesn’t support makes recovery even harder. The Unsupported Deposit Recovery Procedure Rules (official, updated 2026-03-23) say Bybit only handles assets worth more than 500 USD, charges a flat 200 USD fee, takes 3 to 5 business days to review, and doesn’t guarantee recovery. If you send coins worth 600 USD the wrong way, even a successful recovery gets you back only 400 USD. For the recovery rules at different exchanges, see how to recover a wrong-network deposit; for the terms, see deposit and withdrawal terms explained.
Minimum deposits, confirmations and “Pending Assets”
- Minimum deposit: it differs by coin and chain, and is listed on Bybit’s official deposit and withdrawal status page. Deposits below the minimum are not credited and not refunded.
- Block confirmations: shown in the deposit arrival notes on the deposit page. Each chain requires a different number, and the Help Center text doesn’t give the exact counts. After the assets are credited there is also a “deposit lock” period: you can trade with them, but you can’t withdraw until the confirmations are complete. The remaining count is under “Funding Records” → “Deposit”.
- Daily deposit limit: Bybit sets a daily deposit limit for each chain. Anything above it becomes “Pending Assets”, which are released every day at UTC 00:00 up to the limit, and you can’t ask for an early release. Bybit’s example: USDT on the Arbitrum chain has a daily limit of 100,000 USDT, so a single 300,000 USDT deposit takes 3 days to be fully credited. Once released, the amount can be withdrawn from “Funding” → “Pending Assets” by choosing the coin and clicking withdraw.
- Travel Rule verification: depending on local regulations, some users need to verify their wallet address when depositing. The system sends an email, and you complete it under “Deposit History”.
How to transfer between the Funding Account and the Unified Trading Account
Bybit has two main accounts: the Funding Account handles deposits, withdrawals, P2P, One-Click Buy and Earn, while the Unified Trading Account (UTA) is for spot and futures trading. According to How to Transfer Assets on Bybit (official, updated 2026-08-11), in the app you tap “Assets” → the coin → “Transfer”; on the website you pick the account under “Assets” and click “Transfer” next to the coin. Choose the from and to accounts and the amount, then confirm. A transfer happens between your own accounts and doesn’t go on-chain; Bybit’s transfer guide doesn’t mention any fee.
If the transferable amount is lower than you expected, Bybit lists three reasons: trial funds can’t be transferred, the funds are being used as trading margin, or a deposit is still under risk review. If the Unified Trading Account has unsettled derivatives liabilities, assets transferred in are automatically used to repay them first.
No crypto yet? Can you deposit fiat on Bybit?
Yes, but which options you get depends on your region and your identity verification status. According to Bybit’s guide to the KYC levels, accounts that haven’t completed KYC can’t deposit, buy crypto or use P2P. The fiat channels listed in How to Make a Deposit on Bybit (official, updated 2026-06-11) are summarized below:
| Channel | What Bybit says | Fees | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| One-Click Buy: bank card | Buy crypto directly with a linked bank card; Visa/Mastercard and Apple Pay each have a list of supported regions (updated 2026-06-26) | Visa and Mastercard issued in the “other regions” tier: 3.70%; JCB issued in Asia: 5%; your bank may charge extra, such as currency conversion fees | bank card fee table (updated 2026-10-13), supported regions |
| One-Click Buy: third-party payment | Partners are Banxa, MoonPay, Mercuryo, Neofi, Onramp and Onmeta; you complete KYC with the provider, and crypto usually arrives within 2 to 3 hours | Bybit charges nothing extra; most providers charge a transaction fee | third-party channel FAQ (updated 2026-03-29) |
| Fiat deposit | Supports fiat currencies including BRL, EUR, GBP, USD, MXN and PLN | Depends on the currency and payment method; shown on the fiat deposit page | fiat deposit guide (updated 2026-10-20) |
| P2P trading | Users buy and sell directly with each other in fiat; Bybit matches the ads | Only listed fiat currencies such as NGN, AZN, RUB, GHS and TJS carry a trading fee; the rest are free; your payment method may charge its own fee | P2P fees explained (updated 2026-07-28) |

Buying crypto by card costs far more than spot trading: pay 10,000 with a Visa card in the 3.70% tier and Bybit’s part is 370, with your bank’s foreign transaction fee on top. How the two layers of fees add up is covered in credit card crypto fees; for P2P escrow, disputes and scam prevention, see the P2P trading guide.
How to withdraw from Bybit: USDT withdrawal steps
Before you can withdraw, you need to link an email address and Google Authenticator; that’s the prerequisite in How to Submit an On-Chain Withdrawal Request (official, updated 2026-04-12). The steps:
- Open the withdrawal page: on the website, click “Assets” at the top right of the home page → “Withdraw”; in the app, go to the “Assets” page, tap “Withdraw” at the top, then choose “Crypto Withdrawal” and the coin.
- Enter the withdrawal address: type it in, pick a saved address, or tap “Address Book” to add one.
- Choose the chain: the menu shows the withdrawal fee for each network. Pick the same network that the receiver’s deposit page is set to.
- Enter the amount or tap “All”, and choose whether to withdraw from the Funding Account, the Unified Trading Account or the Earn account. The page shows the minimum withdrawal and your remaining daily and monthly limits.
- Confirm, enter the email verification code and the Google Authenticator code, and submit. The email code is valid for 5 minutes; if the address is already on your whitelist, you can skip both checks.
Two things to watch. First, by default the fee is deducted from the amount you enter, so the receiver gets less than you typed; you can change this under “Settings” on the withdrawal page to “Amount entered = amount received”. Second, withdrawing directly from the Unified Trading Account raises your initial margin rate and maintenance margin rate; if the account holds futures positions or loans, taking margin out may raise your liquidation risk (Crypto Withdrawal FAQ, updated 2026-04-12).
How much is the Bybit USDT withdrawal fee?
Bybit’s on-chain withdrawal fee is a fixed amount per withdrawal, regardless of how much you withdraw. The official withdrawal FAQ also explains why Bybit’s fees are higher than other exchanges’: Bybit dynamically sets the network fee at a higher level so withdrawals confirm faster on-chain, and users currently can’t set their own fee. The common networks:
| Network (as labeled by Bybit) | Withdrawal fee (USDT) | Minimum withdrawal (USDT) | Received when withdrawing 100 USDT |
|---|---|---|---|
| TRON (TRC20) | 1.3 | 2.6 | 98.7 |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 0.8 | 6 | 99.2 |
| BSC (BEP20) | 0.15 | 10 | 99.85 |
| SOL | 0.5 | 10 | 99.5 |
| TON (Bybit deposits need a Memo) | 0.15 | 1 | 99.85 |
| Polygon PoS | 0.07 | 1 | 99.93 |
| Arbitrum One (USDT0) | 0.1 | 1 | 99.9 |
| APTOS | 0.002 | Not listed in the official data | 99.998 |
| Plasma (USDT0) | 0 | 2 | 100 |
Source: the official data loaded by Bybit’s deposit and withdrawal status page, checked 2026-10-12. On 2026-10-22 this data couldn’t be read from the official page, so the 10-12 figures are kept. “Received” assumes the default setting of deducting the fee from the withdrawal amount. Fees change often, so go by what the withdrawal page shows before you confirm.
On small withdrawals the fee becomes a large share. Withdraw the TRC20 minimum of 2.6 USDT and, after the 1.3 USDT fee, you receive 1.3 USDT: half of it goes to the fee. On the same 100 USDT, BEP20 costs 1.15 USDT less than TRC20. A network only works if the receiver supports it too, and for networks labeled USDT0 in particular, first check that the network name on the receiver’s deposit page matches. For USDT withdrawal fees at 13 exchanges, see the USDT withdrawal fee comparison.
Address Book, whitelist and withdrawal security settings
You reach the Address Book from “Address Book” on the withdrawal page, or add addresses from your profile settings → “Preferences” → “Withdrawal Address” (How to Add Your Withdrawal Wallet Address, updated 2026-07-19). You need Google two-factor authentication set up before adding one. An address can be saved as a “universal wallet address”, usable for every supported coin on the same network, or as a “standard wallet address” limited to a single coin and network.
How to Manage Your Withdrawal Security (updated 2026-07-24) lists 8 settings. On the website they’re under the profile icon → Account → Security; in the app, Settings → Security Settings → “Scenario-based protection” → “Withdrawal security management”. The ones people use most:
- Withdrawal Whitelist: once a verified address is on the whitelist, withdrawals to it don’t need the email or Google Authenticator code. You can also set a “daily whitelist withdrawal limit”; anything above it needs verification again.
- Address Book-only withdrawals: when on, you can’t enter a new address in the withdrawal window.
- New address withdrawal lock: addresses newly added to the Address Book can’t receive withdrawals for 24 hours; turning this feature off also triggers a 24-hour withdrawal restriction.
- Withdrawal protection and app-only withdrawals: the first delays on-chain withdrawals by a period you set before they’re processed; the second blocks withdrawals from the website.
Turning the new address withdrawal lock on or off triggers a 24-hour withdrawal restriction, and withdrawals are also temporarily limited after you disable withdrawal protection, so it’s best to set these up before you plan to withdraw. For security settings across exchanges, see exchange account security settings.
Sending to another Bybit account: Internal Transfer
If the recipient also uses Bybit, Internal Transfer is the cheapest option. How to Withdraw Assets via Internal Transfer (official, updated 2026-04-27) states that internal transfers arrive instantly and carry no withdrawal fee. On the withdrawal page, choose the coin, click “Internal Transfer”, enter the recipient’s email, UID or phone number, choose whether to pay from the Funding Account, the Unified Trading Account or both, and complete verification. Both sides must be Bybit accounts that have completed identity verification.
How long do withdrawals take, and how much can you withdraw a day?
Bybit’s withdrawal FAQ says “instant withdrawals may take up to 15 minutes to process”, while the on-chain withdrawal guide says that after you submit, it “may take 30 minutes or 1 hour to complete”; both take longer when the network is congested. You can then follow the status under “Funding Account history” → “Withdrawal”: under review, processing, sent, then completed. A status of “pending verification” means you first need to complete the Travel Rule wallet address verification. If it shows completed but nothing arrived, Bybit suggests taking the TXID to the receiving platform’s support.
| Identity verification (VIP 0) | Daily withdrawal limit | Monthly withdrawal limit |
|---|---|---|
| No KYC | 20,000 USDT | 100,000 USDT |
| Standard individual KYC | 1 million USDT | None |
| Advanced individual KYC | 2 million USDT | None |
| Business KYC | 4 million USDT | None |
Source: Bybit Crypto Withdrawal FAQ (updated 2026-04-12), checked 2026-10-22. All coins count at their USDT equivalent; from VIP 1 the daily limit is 8 million USDT, and the top tier, Pro 6, gets 60 million USDT.
The daily limit resets at UTC 00:00, which is 8:00 a.m. Taiwan time, and the monthly limit resets at UTC 00:00 on the first day of each month. If an account without KYC withdraws the full 20,000 USDT every day, it uses up the month’s 100,000 USDT on day 5. For limits across exchanges, see exchange withdrawal limits compared; for Bybit’s verification steps, see the Bybit KYC guide.
Bybit withdrawal stuck or failed: what to do
Common Reasons for Unsuccessful Withdrawal Request Submissions (official, updated 2026-08-30) lists 9 situations. I’ve grouped them by how you deal with them:
- 24-hour withdrawal restriction: changing or resetting your password, changing your phone number, changing or disabling your email, enabling or disabling the new address withdrawal lock, unbinding or resetting Google Authenticator, changing or disabling your fund password, moving your KYC identity to another account, self-service account reactivation, and removing a passkey all trigger a 24-hour restriction. During that time you can’t make on-chain withdrawals, Internal Transfers, fiat withdrawals, Bybit Card transactions or P2P trades; you can only wait it out.
- Assets still locked: freshly deposited coins can’t be withdrawn until the confirmations are complete (deposit lock). If the system detects risk on the account, assets bought through One-Click Buy are temporarily locked; the unlock time is under “Funding Account” → “Funding Records” → “One-Click Buy”. Whether assets bought on P2P have a fixed withdrawal lock period is not stated in Bybit’s withdrawal guides.
- Address or Memo problems: the request won’t go through if the address doesn’t match the chosen chain, and if the system decides the receiving address needs a Memo, you can’t submit without one.
- Amount problems: the amount is above your KYC level’s limit, below the minimum withdrawal, or above your available balance (funds tied up in open orders, or trial funds, which can’t be withdrawn).
- Network maintenance: withdrawals pause while a wallet is under maintenance or being upgraded. You can switch to another network, or tap “Set reminder” on the withdrawal page to be notified when it’s back.
Another case is a risk warning. The withdrawal FAQ states that when the system detects potential risk with a withdrawal address, it shows a warning; if the address is judged high risk, the withdrawal may be rejected and the account may be restricted from withdrawing until you send verification documents by email. What to do when your account is restricted and you need to submit documents is covered in what to do if your exchange account is frozen.
Whatever the cause, anyone who asks you to pay an “unfreezing fee”, “deposit” or “tax” before you can withdraw is running a scam; Bybit’s official process has no such fee. Common scripts are covered in fake exchange withdrawal scams, and in Taiwan you can call the 165 anti-fraud hotline (165 反詐騙專線) to check.
FAQ
Does Bybit charge a deposit fee?
On-chain deposits to Bybit are free, and so are incoming Internal Transfers. The cost is on the sending side: when you send from another exchange or a wallet, you pay that platform’s withdrawal fee or the on-chain network fee. Buying crypto with a bank card or through a third-party payment provider has its own rates (Bybit Fees You Need to Know, updated 2026-04-08).
Which network is best for sending USDT to Bybit?
The one with the lowest fee on the sending side that is also listed on Bybit’s deposit page. Bybit charges nothing to receive, so the only cost is the sender’s fee: check the sending platform’s withdrawal fee for each network, then compare it with the chains open on Bybit’s deposit page. On the TON chain, remember the Memo, and if you’re unsure, send a small test amount first.
My Bybit deposit succeeded, so why can’t I see it in my account?
The most common reasons are that the money went to a different account or hasn’t been credited yet. Check the Unified Trading Account first, since the deposit destination may have been changed; then check whether the block confirmations are complete, whether the amount was below the minimum deposit, and whether it went over that chain’s daily deposit limit and became “Pending Assets”. If none of those apply, check whether the Memo was filled in correctly.
How much is the Bybit USDT withdrawal fee?
According to Bybit’s official data as of 2026-10-12, it’s 1.3 USDT per withdrawal on TRC20, 0.8 USDT on ERC20, 0.15 USDT on BEP20 and 0.07 USDT on Polygon. The fee is a fixed amount per withdrawal, so withdrawing 10 USDT costs the same as withdrawing 10,000 USDT. The figures change, so go by what the withdrawal page shows.
Can I withdraw from Bybit without KYC?
Yes, with limits: accounts without KYC can withdraw up to 20,000 USDT a day and up to 100,000 USDT a month. Unverified accounts can’t deposit or trade, and Internal Transfers require both sides to have completed identity verification. The Individual KYC FAQ (updated 2026-08-20) also states that Bybit has the right to require KYC verification before approving a withdrawal request.
Does a Bybit Internal Transfer cost anything, and how fast is it?
Bybit Internal Transfers are free, and Bybit states that they arrive instantly. Choose “Internal Transfer” on the withdrawal page and enter the other person’s email, UID or phone number; both must be Bybit accounts that have completed identity verification. To send to another exchange or a wallet, you need an on-chain withdrawal instead.
After changing my password or Google Authenticator, how long until I can withdraw?
24 hours. Bybit lists 9 actions, including changing your password, unbinding or resetting Google Authenticator, and changing your phone number or email, that trigger a 24-hour withdrawal restriction; during that time even P2P trading and Internal Transfers are blocked. The restriction lifts automatically when the time is up, so treat anyone who claims they can unlock it early as a scammer.
Bybit’s trading fees are covered in Bybit fees, an overview of the platform and its security record is in the Bybit review, and the identity verification steps are in the Bybit KYC guide; if you don’t have an account yet, the sign-up steps are in the KYC guide too. For deposits and withdrawals on other exchanges, see Binance deposits and withdrawals and OKX deposits and withdrawals; for account security, see exchange account security settings.
