The referral rebate is a fee discount offered by Ourbit itself: the exchange sets the rate and pays the refund directly. What follows is information I compiled for reference.

What kind of exchange is Ourbit?

Ourbit is an international exchange. Besides crypto trading it offers DEX trading and tokenised traditional assets such as stocks. According to its user agreement, it is operated by Ourbit Holdings Ltd., registered in the British Virgin Islands (Ourbit user agreement, checked 2026-10-06).

Where do you enter the Ourbit referral code?

Ourbit’s sign-up form has an optional referral code field. According to Ourbit’s interface, a valid code shows your rebate rate on the page, and an invalid one shows an error. Check the rate shown against the screenshot above before you register.

How do you confirm your Ourbit referral code is bound after signing up?

Open Ourbit’s Referral page (the referral button under your avatar, or “Referral” in the footer). It shows “My Referrer” and your rebate rate.

The “Referral Kickback” tab on the same page lists the rebate from every futures and spot (non-margin) trade you make as an invitee, with the time, rate and amount. (Based on Ourbit’s interface text, checked 2026-10-07.)

Can an existing Ourbit account still bind a referral code?

Yes, as long as the account has never bound a referrer. Ourbit’s Referral page has a “Bind Referrer” option for unbound accounts. Ourbit’s interface says a bound referral code can’t be changed, and accounts that already have a referrer can’t switch, so double-check the code before you submit. Ourbit doesn’t give a deadline for adding one.

Steps:

  1. Log in to Ourbit on the web and open the Referral page.
  2. Find “Bind Referrer” and enter the code (see the referral code details at the end).
  3. Check the code and submit. It can’t be changed afterwards.

How is the Ourbit referral rebate calculated?

The rebate is a share of the trading fees you pay, not of your trading volume. Ourbit’s referral page gives this example: an invitee with a 10% self-rebate rate who pays 100 USDT in fees gets 10 USDT back.

The calculation uses the “actual commissionable fee”, which Ourbit defines as the trading fee minus any fee deductions such as bonuses or vouchers (Ourbit referral page).

Since 3 September 2024 Ourbit has charged 0% on all spot pairs, while futures stay at 0.02% maker and 0.04% taker (Ourbit announcement, checked 2026-10-07). With no spot fee there is no spot rebate, so the rebate mainly comes from futures.

When is the Ourbit rebate paid?

Ourbit’s referral page says spot rebates are paid at around 08:00 (UTC+8) the day after the trade and futures rebates at around 09:00 (UTC+8), in the coin the fee was actually charged in.

Which Ourbit trades earn no rebate?

  • Zero-fee trades: volume still counts, but the rebate on that trade is zero.
  • Fees offset by futures bonuses, and deposit or withdrawal fees.
  • Suspicious trades.
  • One person inviting themselves with several accounts: Ourbit says these referrals and rebates are void.

Based on the Ourbit referral page and the Ourbit affiliate FAQ (checked 2026-10-07).

Ourbit sign-up bonuses (new-user tasks, trial funds) vs the referral code rebate: what’s the difference?

Ourbit’s new-user tasks, trial funds and vouchers are one-off promotions. You usually have to complete tasks such as identity verification, a deposit or a trading volume target to get them; amounts and conditions change from campaign to campaign and they expire, so the campaign page and its terms are what count. The referral code rebate is bound at sign-up, and from then on a share of every fee you actually pay is refunded automatically. It’s separate from the sign-up bonus, so you don’t have to choose one or the other.

Ourbit’s futures fee deduction vouchers can only be used against futures trading fees; they can’t be used as margin, withdrawn or transferred, and they are cleared when they expire (Ourbit deduction voucher guide, checked 2026-10-12). Fees covered by deduction vouchers or futures trial funds don’t count toward the rebate. For the full comparison, see fee vouchers vs referral code rebates.

Where is Ourbit not available?

Ourbit’s user agreement lists regions it doesn’t serve, including the United States, China, Singapore, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Sudan, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Austria, Portugal, the Canadian province of Ontario and the Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine. The list changes; see the Ourbit user agreement (version updated 2026-05-30).

FAQ

Is there a rebate on Ourbit spot trades?

Not at the moment. Spot trading on Ourbit has zero fees, and with no fee there’s no rebate. The rebate comes from futures and DEX trading.

Where can I see the rebate?

On the web Referral page, under the “Referral Kickback” tab; each rebate shows its time, rate and amount.

Does the rebate expire?

Ourbit doesn’t state a time limit for the invitee’s self-rebate. You can confirm it’s still being paid under “Referral Kickback”.

Do trades with bonus funds get a rebate?

Fees offset by futures bonuses don’t count; only fees you actually pay do.

What are Ourbit’s trading fees?

Ourbit spot trading currently has zero fees across the board, and the standard rate for USDT perpetual futures is 0.02% maker and 0.04% taker.

Ourbit’s 2025-04-23 announcement of VIP rates for Taiwan lists the futures taker fee for Taiwan VIP 0 as 0.05%; for Taiwan accounts, the rate shown on the fee page after you log in prevails. The full breakdown is in Ourbit trading fees.

Can I use Ourbit fee vouchers together with the referral code rebate?

Yes, but the part of the fee covered by a voucher doesn’t count toward the rebate; only the part you actually pay does.

Ourbit’s example: a futures fee voucher with a 50% deduction ratio and a face value of 100 USDT covers 5 USDT of a 10 USDT fee, and only the remaining 5 USDT you actually pay counts toward the rebate. Vouchers can’t be used for liquidation fees, and any unused amount is cleared when they expire. The difference between the two kinds of offer is covered in fee vouchers vs referral code rebates.

If I sign up in the app, can the Ourbit referral code fail to bind?

Ourbit doesn’t state any separate restriction for app sign-ups. After you enter a valid referral code, the sign-up form shows the rebate rate; just check that it appears before you submit.

If you find after signing up that the code didn’t bind, you can still add one under “Bind Referrer” on the web Referral page, as long as the account has no referrer yet; it can’t be changed once bound. For what to watch for when signing up in the app on other exchanges, see will a referral code bind if you sign up in the app?

Is Ourbit safe?

I couldn’t find any major public security incident at Ourbit so far, but Ourbit hasn’t published a proof of reserves, and I found no officially announced protection fund, so there’s less data to verify than for other exchanges.

Of the 13 exchanges this site covers, Ourbit is the only one for which no proof of reserves page or report was found. Each exchange’s record is compiled in the exchange safety record and exchange proof of reserves compared.
