Ourbit Fees (2026): Zero-Fee Spot, Futures, VIP and Rebates

Updated Rules checked 2026-10-11

On Ourbit, every spot pair currently charges Maker 0% and Taker 0%, and the standard rate for USDT perpetual futures is Maker 0.02% and Taker 0.04%. However, the fee schedule for Taiwanese VIP users that Ourbit published in 2025 lists the futures Taker fee for Taiwan VIP 0 at 0.05%, so if you have a Taiwan account, it’s best to log in and check your actual rate before you trade.

Since spot has no fees, there’s no rebate to earn on it either; Ourbit’s referral rebates come only from futures and DEX trades. The platform token discount is also out of reach for now: the fee page still has an option to pay with OUR, but OUR isn’t listed for trading, so regular users can’t get any.

If you sign up with this site’s Ourbit referral code, the exchange automatically refunds 50% of your futures and DEX fees, calculated on the fees you actually pay after trial funds and fee vouchers are deducted.

The fees below were checked against Ourbit’s official pages on 2026-10-11 and are provided for reference.

Key points:
1. Every Ourbit spot pair is Maker 0% and Taker 0% (883 pairs checked on 2026-10-11); spot has no fees and therefore no rebates.
2. The standard USDT perpetual futures rates are Maker 0.02% and Taker 0.04%; Ourbit’s 2025-04-23 announcement on Taiwan VIP rates lists the futures Taker rate for Taiwan VIP 0 at 0.05%.
3. Futures fees are calculated on position value: with 1,000 USDT of margin at 10x, opening and closing as a Taker costs 8 USDT in total, or 10 USDT at the Taiwan 0.05% rate.
4. Of the 753 futures contracts on 2026-10-11, 454 settled funding every 4 hours.
5. Checked on 2026-10-12, withdrawing USDT from Ourbit costs 0.01 USDT on BEP20 and 1.5 USDT on TRC20.

Sources: the zero spot fee comes from Ourbit’s zero spot fee announcement (from 2024-09-03, both Maker and Taker went from 0.1% to 0%, while futures stayed at 0.02% / 0.04%). On 2026-10-11 I also checked the default rates on Ourbit’s fee page and the spot pair data: all 883 pairs are 0 / 0. Futures rates and contract counts come from Ourbit’s contract specifications. The Taiwan rates come from the futures fee adjustment notice for Taiwanese VIP users. Ourbit’s VIP page also notes that rates vary by region and that your actual trade history is what counts.

What’s the difference between Maker and Taker on Ourbit?

Ourbit’s interface defines them like this: a Maker order enters the order book and provides liquidity; a Taker order takes liquidity straight from the order book and fills immediately. Market orders are always Taker, and a limit order priced to fill right away also counts as Taker.

On Ourbit spot, this difference doesn’t affect your costs, since both are 0. It matters for futures: for the same 10,000 USDT BTC futures position, a limit order that waits to fill costs 10,000 × 0.02% = 2 USDT in fees; opening at market costs 10,000 × 0.04% = 4 USDT, or 5 USDT at the Taiwan 0.05% rate. Taker costs 2 to 2.5 times as much as Maker. For the gap between Maker and Taker rates across 13 exchanges, see Maker vs Taker fees.

Ourbit has offered zero spot fees since 2024-09-03. The announcement calls it a “promotional campaign” and reserves the right of final interpretation, while an Ourbit Academy article from 2026-08 describes it as a standing rate (Ourbit’s explainer on zero-fee spot trading). There doesn’t seem to be an end date for now, but Ourbit keeps room to change it. If the fee field on the trading panel shows a non-zero number when you place an order, that number is what counts.

With no spot fees, a referral code does nothing for spot. Ourbit’s referral page states that direct invitees who sign up through an invitation link get “spot trading fees fully waived, and the futures & DEX rebate share can be freely allocated” (Ourbit’s referral page). In other words, a referral code only pays off on futures and DEX.

Zero spot fees don’t mean trading costs nothing. Market orders still pay the bid-ask spread and slippage, and small-cap coins have thinner order books, so a large market order may fill at a noticeably worse price than the one on screen. Filling major coins with limit orders is how you actually get close to zero cost.

How are Ourbit futures fees calculated? Do Taiwan accounts pay the same rate?

When I read Ourbit’s contract specifications on 2026-10-11, all 753 contracts were USDT-settled at Maker 0.02% and Taker 0.04%, and the “special rate” list was empty. BTC/USDT goes up to 500x leverage. Ourbit occasionally runs zero-fee futures campaigns, such as the zero-fee gold and crude oil challenge in March 2026; trades at the 0 rate during a campaign have no fees, and therefore no rebate.

Futures fees are calculated on position value, not margin. Position value = number of contracts × contract size × fill price; for BTC/USDT, 1 contract is 0.0001 BTC. For how notional value is calculated, with worked examples for 13 exchanges, see how futures fees are calculated.

Example: with 1,000 USDT of margin at 10x leverage, the position value is 1,000 × 10 = 10,000 USDT. Opening as a Taker: 10,000 × 0.04% = 4 USDT; closing as a Taker (assuming the price hasn’t moved) is another 4 USDT, so a round trip costs 8 USDT, or 0.8% of your margin. If your account is on the Taiwan 0.05% rate, the round trip is 10 USDT (1% of your margin). Opening and closing as a Maker: 10,000 × 0.02% × 2 = 4 USDT.

The higher the leverage, the bigger the position for the same margin, and fees grow in proportion: with the same 1,000 USDT of margin at 50x, a Taker round trip costs 40 USDT. If the price moves against you, the position may be liquidated and you lose all of your margin. Before opening a position, you can estimate the liquidation price with the liquidation price calculator and add up fees and funding together with the perpetual futures cost calculator.

The “futures fee vouchers” that new users often receive can cover part of your fees. For example, a voucher with a 50% deduction ratio and a face value of 100 USDT covers 5 USDT of a 10 USDT fee. The part covered by a voucher doesn’t count toward rebates, and vouchers can’t be used for liquidation fees (Ourbit’s guide to futures fee vouchers).

How do Ourbit VIP tiers work?

Ourbit’s VIP program only covers futures. The criteria are “total assets” or “30-day futures trading volume”, and meeting either one is enough (Ourbit’s VIP page). The full tier schedule is only visible after logging in; the only complete table on a public page is the 2025-04-23 notice for Taiwanese VIP users:

Tier30-day futures volumeTotal assetsFutures MakerFutures Taker
VIP 0––0.02%0.05%
VIP 1≥ 5 million USDT≥ 30,0000.016%0.04%
VIP 2≥ 20 million USDT≥ 50,0000.014%0.035%
VIP 3≥ 100 million USDT≥ 200,0000.01%0.03%
VIP Supreme≥ 200 million USDT≥ 400,0000.008%0.025%

The notice doesn’t give a unit for the total assets column. On top of that, an Ourbit Academy comparison article from 2026-08 gives a different set of thresholds: VIP 1 needs only 10,000 USDT in total assets or 1 million USDT in monthly futures volume, at 0.015% / 0.035%; VIP Supreme needs 200,000 USDT in assets or 20 million USDT a month, at 0.010% / 0.010% (Ourbit vs. OKX comparison). The two sets of numbers are far apart, probably because they apply to different regions. To see which one applies to you, log in and check “My VIP level” on the VIP page.

  • How often tiers are recalculated: tiers are settled and updated every day between 0:00 and 8:00 (UTC+8). Total assets are taken from a random snapshot between 0:00 the previous day and 0:00 that day.
  • Grace period: 5 days for VIP 1, 10 days for VIP 2, 15 days for VIP 3 and 20 days for VIP Supreme, but Ourbit states that the grace period only covers benefits other than discounted fees; your fee rate still follows the daily assessment.
  • Volume that doesn’t count: volume on the USDC/USDT pair and on stablecoin futures isn’t counted.
  • VIP+ fast track: if you’re already a VIP on Binance, OKX, Bybit or other exchanges, you can upload proof of your tier or assets from the past 30 days and, once approved, get a 30-day Ourbit VIP trial.

Going by the Taiwan table, VIP 1 requires 5 million USDT of futures volume a month or 30,000 in total assets, so most retail traders stay at VIP 0. Ourbit doesn’t say whether referral rebates stop once you reach VIP; rebates are calculated on the fees you actually pay, so the lower your VIP rate, the smaller your rebate. For how each exchange handles this, see do you still get referral rebates after a VIP upgrade.

Can OUR be used to discount Ourbit fees?

The interface text on Ourbit’s fee page lists two OUR-related futures fee discounts, both only for USDT-M futures:

  • OUR deduction: it turns on once you transfer OUR into your futures account; futures fees are then paid in OUR at a discount. It switches off automatically when your OUR runs out.
  • OUR spot holdings: hold at least a certain amount of OUR for a set number of consecutive days and your futures fees are discounted. Three random snapshots are taken each day and the lowest is used; once you qualify, the discount takes effect at 00:00 (UTC+8) the next day. The two discounts can’t be combined, and the holdings discount takes priority.

The discount ratios, holding thresholds and number of days only show up after you log in; Ourbit hasn’t published them. The more practical problem: when I checked Ourbit’s spot pair list and its deposit and withdrawal list on 2026-10-11, OUR wasn’t on either, and the OUR info page no longer loads, so regular users have no way to get OUR. That’s why none of the fee calculations in this article include an OUR discount.

If you already have OUR in your account, here’s how the discount interacts with rebates: Ourbit’s referral rules state that rebates are calculated on “fees actually received by the system”, with trading fee discounts deducted (Ourbit’s referral page). So the discount applies first, and the rebate is then calculated on the discounted amount.

Do Ourbit funding rates count as trading fees?

Perpetual futures also have funding fees. Ourbit doesn’t collect them; longs and shorts pay each other. When the funding rate is positive, longs pay shorts; when it’s negative, shorts pay longs. The formula is funding fee = position value × funding rate, and Ourbit’s own example is a 100,000 USDT long at 0.01%, which pays 10 USDT (Ourbit’s funding rate mechanism). If you close before settlement, you don’t pay, but orders within 15 seconds either side of the settlement time may still be counted. For settlement intervals and rate caps across 13 exchanges, see what the funding rate is.

Ourbit’s documentation says funding settles “every 8 hours by default” (UTC 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00) and reserves the right to change the interval. In practice, when I read Ourbit’s funding rate data on 2026-10-11, 454 of the 753 contracts settled every 4 hours, 296 every 8 hours, 2 every hour and 1 every 24 hours. BTC/USDT and ETH/USDT settle every 8 hours, while many small-cap coins settle every 4 hours, 6 times a day.

In money terms: a 10,000 USDT position at a 0.01% funding rate pays 1 USDT per settlement; a contract that settles every 4 hours does that 6 times a day, so if the rate holds, that’s 6 USDT a day, more than the fee to open the position. Check the funding countdown on the trading page before you hold overnight. Funding fees aren’t trading fees and don’t earn rebates.

What does Ourbit charge for deposits, withdrawals (cashing out), DEX trades and buying crypto with fiat?

  • Deposits: crypto deposits are free.
  • Withdrawals: a fixed fee depending on the coin and network. On 2026-10-12 I read the “Deposit & withdrawal fees” data on Ourbit’s fee page: USDT costs 0.01 USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), 0.012 USDT on Plasma, 0.2 USDT on Ethereum (ERC20), 1 USDT on Solana and 1.5 USDT on Tron (TRC20); BTC on the Bitcoin mainnet costs 0.00001968 BTC. Each network also has a minimum withdrawal, for example 10 USDT for USDT on BEP20. Fees change, so check the page before you withdraw.
  • DEX zone: Ourbit charges a “service fee” on DEX trades, calculated as a percentage of the trade amount, plus on-chain gas and priority fees, which are adjusted when the network is congested (per the interface text on Ourbit DEX). The service fee rate is shown on the order page; Ourbit hasn’t published a fixed figure. DEX trades earn rebates, but Ourbit doesn’t state whether the rebate base includes gas.
  • Convert, P2P and card purchases: Ourbit’s announcements and help center don’t explain the fees for these services. A common approach for Taiwanese users is to buy USDT with New Taiwan dollars (TWD) on a local exchange and transfer it on-chain to Ourbit: deposits on Ourbit are free, so your costs are the local exchange’s trading fee and withdrawal network fee.

USDT withdrawal fees: in the 2026-10-12 data, BEP20 (0.01 USDT) was the cheapest network for USDT on Ourbit, followed by Plasma at 0.012 USDT and Aptos at 0.03 USDT; TRC20 costs 1.5 USDT, and the minimum is 10 USDT per withdrawal. For transfers to MAX or BitoPro, BEP20 is also the cheapest. For fees and minimum withdrawals by network on 13 exchanges, see USDT withdrawal fees compared.

Ourbit’s referral rules state that deposit and withdrawal fees, fees paid with futures bonuses and fees from abnormal trades don’t count toward rebates.

How do I check my own Ourbit fee tier?

  • Current rate: log in and open Ourbit’s fee page, which shows “Your exclusive rates” on separate spot and futures tabs. This is the clearest place to see whether a Taiwan account is on 0.04% or 0.05%.
  • VIP tier: “My VIP level” on Ourbit’s VIP page shows how far you are from the next tier and the date the data runs to.
  • What you actually paid: on both web and app, go to the futures trading page → “Order history” or “Transaction history”. You can filter by voucher to see which fees were paid with vouchers.
  • Rebate records: the “Self-rebate history” on the referral page lists each rebate with its time, rate and amount.

What do you actually pay on Ourbit after a referral rebate?

Ourbit’s rebates are calculated on the fees you actually pay: your trading fees minus the part covered by trial funds and vouchers. The referral page gives this example: an invitee with a 10% self-rebate rate who pays 100 USDT in fees gets 10 USDT back; if 1 USDT of that was covered by trial funds, the rebate is calculated on 100 USDT. Rebates are paid the day after the trade, at about 09:00 (UTC+8) for futures, in the coin the fee was paid in.

These trades don’t earn rebates:

  • All spot trades: the fee is 0.
  • Futures trades during zero-fee campaigns.
  • Fees covered by vouchers, trial funds or principal boost funds.
  • Fees from margin trading, abnormal trades, and self-invitation through multiple accounts held by one person.

Example: 300,000 USDT of futures volume in a month

Say you trade 300,000 USDT of USDT perpetual futures in a month:

  • All Taker, standard rate: 300,000 × 0.04% = 120 USDT.
  • All Taker, Taiwan 0.05% rate: 300,000 × 0.05% = 150 USDT.
  • Half Maker, half Taker (standard rate): 150,000 × 0.02% + 150,000 × 0.04% = 30 + 60 = 90 USDT.
  • All Maker: 300,000 × 0.02% = 60 USDT.

Multiply any of these amounts by your rebate rate to get that month’s rebate; you can check the rate and amount with the calculators above. If you also have another discount (OUR deduction, for example), your real cost = original fee × discounted rate × (1 − rebate rate). The two discounts multiply rather than add; for the reasoning, see the referral rebate glossary. The Ourbit referral code and how to sign up are on Ourbit referral code; for each exchange’s fees after rebates, see actual trading fees after referral rebates. For the official VIP 0 rates of 13 exchanges ranked from lowest to highest, see lowest-fee crypto exchanges ranked.

What are the ways to save on Ourbit fees?

Spot is already 0, so all the savings are in futures. Sorted by how much a typical retail trader can save:

  1. Use Maker orders for futures: going from Taker 0.04% to Maker 0.02% cuts that fee in half; on an account with the Taiwan 0.05% rate, it’s 60% less. Moving all of 300,000 USDT a month to Maker saves 60 to 90 USDT. The trade-off is that your order may not fill, so it’s not a good fit when you need to get in or out quickly.
  2. Get a rebate with a referral code: it refunds a set percentage of the fees you actually pay, on both Maker and Taker orders; see the calculators above for amounts. An account without a referrer can add one on the referral page, and it can’t be changed once bound. For how to do it, see the Ourbit referral switch guide and can you add a referral code after signing up?
  3. Watch funding settlements: many small-cap futures contracts settle every 4 hours, and holding a position through a settlement may cost more than the trading fee. If you close short-term trades before settlement, you neither pay nor receive funding.
  4. Pick the right withdrawal network: for the same USDT withdrawal, TRC20 costs 1.5 USDT and BEP20 only 0.01 USDT, a difference of nearly 15 USDT over 10 withdrawals. Before you choose, make sure the recipient supports that network; if you pick the wrong one, you may not get your assets back.
  5. VIP: VIP 1 on the Taiwan table requires 5 million USDT of futures volume a month, and its 0.04% Taker is only 0.01 percentage points below the 0.05% for Taiwan VIP 0, so typical retail traders don’t need to chase it.

One more thing: swapping coins and rebalancing on spot cost nothing in fees. When you need to turn USDT into another coin, swapping on Ourbit with a spot limit order is cheaper than swapping somewhere that charges fees and then transferring in.

FAQ

What are Ourbit’s fees?

Spot is Maker 0% and Taker 0%, and the standard rate for USDT perpetual futures is Maker 0.02% and Taker 0.04% (checked 2026-10-11). Ourbit’s 2025-04-23 fee notice for Taiwanese VIP users lists the futures Taker fee for Taiwan VIP 0 at 0.05%; the fee page you see after logging in is what counts.

Is Ourbit spot really fee-free?

Yes. Since 2024-09-03, every spot pair has been Maker 0% and Taker 0%, with no platform token required and no volume threshold. The catch is that spot earns no rebate, and market orders still face the bid-ask spread and slippage.

How are Ourbit futures fees calculated?

Position value times the fee rate, regardless of how much margin you put up. With 1,000 USDT of margin at 10x, the position is 10,000 USDT, and opening plus closing as a Taker costs 10,000 × 0.04% × 2 = 8 USDT; at the Taiwan 0.05% rate, it’s 10 USDT.

Where can I see my Ourbit fees?

After logging in, open Ourbit’s fee page. It shows “Your exclusive rates” on separate spot and futures tabs, and it’s the clearest place to see whether a Taiwan account is on 0.04% or 0.05%. Your VIP tier is under “My VIP level” on the VIP page; for how much you actually paid, check “Order history” or “Fund history” on the futures trading page.

How much does it cost to withdraw from Ourbit?

It depends on the coin and network; deposits are free. On the fee page on 2026-10-12, USDT withdrawals cost 0.01 USDT on BEP20, 0.2 USDT on ERC20 and 1.5 USDT on TRC20, and BTC on the mainnet cost 0.00001968 BTC. Withdrawal fees don’t count toward rebates.

How much does Ourbit charge to withdraw USDT?

Checked on 2026-10-12, withdrawing USDT from Ourbit costs 0.01 USDT on BEP20, 0.012 USDT on Plasma, 0.2 USDT on ERC20 and 1.5 USDT on TRC20, with a minimum of 10 USDT per withdrawal. Fees change, so go by the page before you withdraw; for a comparison of 13 exchanges, see USDT withdrawal fees compared.

Does Ourbit spot earn a rebate?

No. The spot fee is 0, so there’s nothing to refund; Ourbit’s referral rebates come only from futures and DEX trades.

Can I use a referral rebate and the OUR discount together?

Under the rules, yes, but the rebate is calculated on the fee actually collected after the discount. In practice, OUR isn’t currently listed for trading, so most people will only use the referral rebate.

If a rebate hasn’t arrived, work through the checklist in what to do if your referral rebate hasn’t arrived; the situations in which rebates can be cancelled are covered in when rebates get cancelled. For how the referrer’s commission differs from the invitee’s rebate, see referrer commission vs. invitee rebate. To compare other exchanges, see crypto exchange referral codes.
