The referral rebate is a fee discount offered by Bitget itself: the exchange sets the rate and pays the refund directly. What follows is information I compiled for reference.
Plenty of Bitget referral codes promise a “high rebate”, yet many people find no rebate in their account after signing up. This page covers two things: how to check a code’s rebate on the sign-up page before you register, and how to confirm in your account that it’s working afterwards. Once you know how, you can check any referral code yourself.
1. How do you check a Bitget referral code and rebate before signing up?
The rebate is the exchange’s official policy, and many exchanges show it on the sign-up page. Check three things before you register:
- Whether the referral code field is filled in, and whether it holds the code you meant to use.
- Whether the page shows the rebate or fee discount you’ll get, and how much.
- Whether the discount applies automatically. If you have to send a message, share your UID or wait for someone to switch it on, it isn’t an official rebate you can confirm at sign-up.
The Bitget sign-up page doesn’t show the rate after you enter a code, so this is the rebate setting for this code in the Bitget dashboard; the direct-client column is the share the invitee gets back.

Since 2023 Bitget has required all new users to complete identity verification (KYC) at sign-up (Bitget announcement), so have your ID ready.
2. How do you confirm the Bitget rebate is working after signing up?
Once registered, check your referral relationship and rebate rate in your account.
If you can’t find a rebate, first check whether the referral code was entered correctly at sign-up; for anything else, contact Bitget’s official support and follow Bitget’s rules.
3. How is the Bitget referral rebate calculated?
The rebate is a share of the trading fees you pay, not of your trading volume. Bitget’s affiliate page gives the formula “rebate = net fee × rebate ratio”, where the net fee is the fee after deductions (Bitget affiliates page). If you pay 100 USDT in fees in a month at a 10% rebate, you get 10 USDT back that month.
Bitget standard fees
| Market | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|
| USDT futures | 0.02% | 0.06% |
| Spot | 0.1% | 0.1% |
Bitget’s standard fees are 0.1% maker and taker on spot, and 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker on futures; paying spot fees with BGB gives a 20% discount (Bitget fee guide, checked 2026-10-07).
Example: futures (taker 0.06%)
| Monthly volume | Fees (0.06%) | Auto rebate (20%) | Net fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10,000 USDT | 6 USDT | 1.2 USDT | 4.8 USDT |
| 100,000 USDT | 60 USDT | 12 USDT | 48 USDT |
| 1,000,000 USDT | 600 USDT | 120 USDT | 480 USDT |
Example at a futures fee rate of 0.06% and the current 20% automatic rebate (rate updated 2026-10-24). Your exchange statement prevails.
Example: spot (0.1%)
| Monthly volume | Fees (0.1%) | Auto rebate (20%) | Net fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10,000 USDT | 10 USDT | 2 USDT | 8 USDT |
| 100,000 USDT | 100 USDT | 20 USDT | 80 USDT |
| 1,000,000 USDT | 1,000 USDT | 200 USDT | 800 USDT |
Example at a spot fee rate of 0.1% and the current 20% automatic rebate (rate updated 2026-10-24). Your exchange statement prevails.
The rebate rate in the tables syncs with the exchange daily and the tables recalculate when it changes.
4. Trades without a rebate
Bitget’s affiliate policy lists cases that earn no commission, which usually means no rebate either:
- zero-fee trades;
- trades at special fee rates;
- trades with rebate cards, where the rebate is paid as a rebate card instead.
Bitget also says referrals from the same IP address or device count as self-referrals, and inviting users who are already registered isn’t recognised (Bitget affiliate policy, Bitget referral program notice, checked 2026-10-07).
Bitget sign-up bonuses (new-user tasks, trial funds) vs the referral code rebate: what’s the difference?
Bitget’s new-user tasks, trial funds and vouchers are one-off promotions. You usually have to complete tasks such as identity verification, a deposit or a trading volume target to get them; amounts and conditions change from campaign to campaign and they expire, so the campaign page and its terms are what count. The referral code rebate is bound at sign-up, and from then on a share of every fee you actually pay is refunded automatically. It’s separate from the sign-up bonus, so you don’t have to choose one or the other.
The futures fee rebate vouchers described in Bitget’s help center apply only to futures trading fees. Once claimed in the “Coupon Center” they are applied automatically, and they become void if not claimed or used within the validity period (Bitget rebate voucher guide, checked 2026-10-12). Bitget’s affiliate policy states that trades made with rebate vouchers earn no commission; it is paid as rebate vouchers instead. For the full comparison, see fee vouchers vs referral code rebates.

FAQ
Can I use a referral code if I already have a Bitget account?
Bitget says inviting users who are already registered isn’t recognised, and it offers no way to add a code after sign-up, so enter it when you register.
Is the rebate permanent?
Bitget’s affiliate FAQ says the referral relationship is long-term: as long as the invitee keeps trading on Bitget, the rebate continues, with no end date. The rate itself follows Bitget’s current page.
How is the rebate calculated with a VIP rate?
Bitget says trades at special rates such as VIP rates are calculated on the net fee. When your fee drops, the rebate usually drops too.
Is there still a rebate if I pay fees with BGB?
Bitget doesn’t say directly how BGB deductions and the rebate interact. Under the “rebate = net fee × rebate ratio” formula, a lower fee after the deduction may mean a smaller rebate; your account records are the reference.
How can I check whether my Bitget referral code is bound?
Bitget’s help center has no page where invitees can see their referrer, so the most practical method is to check your account’s asset records for rebates after you trade. If you can’t find any, first confirm that the referral code was filled in correctly at sign-up, then give your UID to Bitget customer support so they can look it up; give only your UID, never your password or a verification code. How to check on each exchange is covered in how to check whether your referral code is bound.
How long does the Bitget rebate take to arrive?
Bitget doesn’t say when the invitee’s rebate is credited; your account records are the reference. What Bitget does state is that the referrer’s commission is settled once a day, covering the previous day’s trades, and starts being paid at 10:00 (UTC+8) the day after the trade (T+1); the invitee’s rebate is a share of that commission.
What are Bitget’s trading fees?
For regular users (VIP 0), spot fees are 0.1% for both maker and taker, and futures are 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker. Turning on BGB deduction for spot gives 20% off; futures currently have no BGB discount. VIP rates, how futures fees are calculated and withdrawal fees are covered in the Bitget trading fees guide.
Is Bitget safe?
On 2026-09-24, about US$388 million was stolen from Bitget’s hot and warm wallets. Bitget said user balances were not affected and the loss was covered by its protection fund; withdrawals were fully restored on 2026-10-02, about 7.5 days later. In the proof of reserves after the incident, dated 2026-09-29, the BTC reserve ratio was 142%. The full record is in the exchange safety record, and reserve ratios across exchanges are in exchange proof of reserves compared.
