WEEX is explicit: once registration is complete, the referral relationship can’t be changed. Enter the code when you sign up; an existing account can’t switch to this code.

How is the WEEX referral rebate calculated?

WEEX sign-up bonuses (new-user tasks, trial funds) vs the referral code rebate: what’s the difference?

WEEX’s new-user tasks, trial funds and vouchers are one-off promotions. You usually have to complete tasks such as identity verification, a deposit or a trading volume target to get them; amounts and conditions change from campaign to campaign and they expire, so the campaign page and its terms are what count. The referral code rebate is bound at sign-up, and from then on a share of every fee you actually pay is refunded automatically. It’s separate from the sign-up bonus, so you don’t have to choose one or the other.

WEEX deduction vouchers can only be used against futures and copy trading fees and can’t be used as margin. They are used in the order deduction voucher → trial funds → principal, and any unused amount is taken back when they expire (WEEX deduction voucher rules, checked 2026-10-12). Why are the futures and spot rates different?

WEEX’s affiliate tools set futures and spot rebate rates separately, and this code uses different rates for each, so they’re listed separately.

How is the rebate calculated with a VIP discount?

WEEX says commission is based on the fee actually paid after fee discounts. When your fee drops, the rebate usually drops too.

When is the rebate paid?

WEEX doesn’t publish when or to which account the invitee’s rebate is paid; your account records are the reference.

Can I add a code after signing up?

WEEX says the referral relationship can’t be changed after registration, and it offers no way to add a code later.

How can I check whether my WEEX referral code is bound?

WEEX doesn’t say where invitees can see their referrer. To confirm, you can give your UID to the referrer to check, or watch for rebates arriving in your account after you trade.

What are WEEX’s trading fees?

For regular WEEX users (VIP 0), spot fees are 0.1% each for maker and taker, and USDT futures are 0.02% maker and 0.08% taker.

Can I use WEEX fee vouchers together with the referral code rebate?

Yes, but fees offset with vouchers or futures trial funds don’t generate a rebate; only the part you actually pay counts.

WEEX uses funds in the order vouchers → trial funds → principal, so any vouchers in your account are used first, and your rebate shrinks accordingly while they last. The difference between the two kinds of offer is covered in fee vouchers vs referral code rebates.

Is WEEX safe?

I couldn’t find any major public security incident at WEEX so far, but that only reflects the past record; no exchange can guarantee safety.

WEEX’s website mentions a 1,000 BTC protection fund and claims eight years without incident; that is WEEX’s own claim. Its proof of reserves page showed no figures when checked on 2026-10-12. Each exchange’s record is compiled in the exchange safety record and exchange proof of reserves compared.
