Updated Rules checked 2026-10-12
Looking only at official regular-user (VIP 0) rates, MEXC has the lowest fees on USDT-margined perpetual futures, at 0% Maker and 0.02% Taker, and Ourbit charges no spot fees at all, with both Maker and Taker at 0%. The highest futures Taker is WEEX at 0.08%, and the highest spot rates are XT and HTX at 0.2%. On the same 1 million USDT of futures volume, all filled with market orders, you pay 200 USDT at MEXC and 800 USDT at WEEX.
The official rate is not what you end up paying, though. When you sign up with a referral code, the exchange refunds a percentage of the fees you actually pay, and once that is subtracted, the order differs from the official-rate ranking. The two ranking tables below, one for futures and one for spot, sort exchanges from lowest to highest by “official Taker rate minus the automatic fee rebate from the exchange with this site’s referral code.” Rebate rates sync with the exchanges every day, and the ranking updates automatically.
“Lowest” also depends on who you are. If you place a lot of Maker orders, trade large volumes each month, or are willing to hold a platform token, the order changes; the second half of this article works it out with the official VIP fee schedules. This page is updated once a month, and the month in the title is when it was last compiled.
Key points
1. For VIP 0 USDT-margined perpetual futures, the lowest Taker is MEXC at 0.02% and the highest is WEEX at 0.08%, a 4x gap. Maker is 0% at MEXC and 0.02% at the other 12 exchanges.
2. On VIP 0 spot, only Ourbit charges no fees at all; MEXC and Pionex charge 0.05% Taker, most exchanges 0.1%, and XT and HTX 0.2%.
3. The ranking after referral rebates differs from the official-rate ranking: an exchange with a high rebate rate but a high base rate is not necessarily cheaper once the rebate is subtracted.
4. Platform token discounts mostly apply to spot: Binance BNB, Bybit MNT, HTX HTX/TRX and XT give 25% off, Bitget BGB, KuCoin KCS and MEXC MX give 20% off, and Gate GT gives 10% off. On futures, only Binance, Bybit, MEXC and HTX offer a discount.
5. At 10 million USDT of 30-day futures volume, OKX is cheapest if every trade is Taker (VIP 2 Taker 0.036%) and BingX is cheapest if every trade is Maker (VIP 1 Maker 0.014%). Trading volume and your Maker share change which exchange comes out cheapest.
The data below was checked against official pages on 2026-10-12 (data check date) and is provided for reference. On 2026-10-15 I rechecked 4 of these exchanges; the scope is described in the update log at the end.
How is the fee ranking built, and which rate does it compare?
The ranking compares each exchange’s officially published VIP 0 Taker rate, minus the automatic fee rebate from the exchange when you sign up with this site’s referral code:
Rate after rebate = official Taker rate × (1 − automatic fee rebate rate from the exchange)
There are two reasons for using Taker rather than Maker. First, market orders, triggered take-profit and stop-loss orders, and one-click closes are all charged at the Taker rate, so most people’s trades fill as Taker. Second, futures Maker is 0.02% at almost all 13 exchanges; the real differences are in Taker. Rebates are calculated on the fees you actually pay, not on trade value, so the rates after rebate can be compared directly.
A hypothetical example (the numbers are not any exchange’s actual rates): Exchange A has an official Taker rate of 0.09% and a 55% rebate, which leaves 0.0405%; Exchange B has an official Taker rate of 0.05% and a 25% rebate, which leaves 0.0375%. A, with more than twice the rebate rate, actually costs more. If you choose an exchange by rebate rate alone, you may reach exactly the wrong conclusion.
What this ranking leaves out:
- VIP tiers: fees drop once your volume or assets reach a threshold. The section “Why is the ‘lowest fee’ different for everyone?” below has actual numbers.
- Platform token discounts, fee vouchers and trial funds: these require holding a token or joining a promotion, and are covered separately in the platform token section.
- Limited-time zero-fee promotions and special rates on specific pairs: the ranking uses the rates for standard trading pairs.
- Funding rates, slippage and withdrawal fees: these are not trading fees, and they earn no rebate.
- Bybit: signing up with a referral code gives no automatic fee rebate from the exchange, so Bybit is not in either ranking table. Its official rates are listed separately below.
Official rates come from each exchange’s fee page, and every rate in the tables links to its source. Rebate rates sync with the exchanges’ settings every day; how they are synced and verified is explained in how rebate data is compiled and verified, and how this site ranks exchanges is covered in exchange ranking methodology. The rate in Pionex’s row is what this site calls a fee discount; it is calculated the same way.
Which exchange has the lowest futures fees?
The table below ranks USDT-margined perpetual futures by Taker rate after rebate, from lowest to highest. Click an exchange name to read its referral code article, or click an official rate to open the exchange’s fee page.
| Exchange | Standard futures taker fee | auto fee rebate | After the rebate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitfinex | 0% | — | 0% |
| MEXC | 0.02% | 20% | 0.016% |
| Ourbit | 0.04% | 50% | 0.02% |
| KuCoin | 0.06% | 60% | 0.024% |
| XT.COM | 0.06% | 60% | 0.024% |
| BingX | 0.05% | 45% | 0.0275% |
| WEEX | 0.08% | 60% | 0.032% |
| Binance | 0.05% | 20% | 0.04% |
| OKX | 0.05% | 20% | 0.04% |
| Gate | 0.05% | 20% | 0.04% |
| HTX | 0.06% | 30% | 0.042% |
| Pionex | 0.05% | 15% | 0.0425% |
| Bitget | 0.06% | 20% | 0.048% |
Fees are each exchange's published VIP 0 taker rates; after the rebate = fee × (1 − automatic rebate). Rebate rates synced 2026-10-23. Actual fees vary by VIP level, pair and product; your exchange statement prevails.
On official VIP 0 rates alone, the futures Taker rates of the 13 exchanges fall into six tiers: MEXC 0.02%; Ourbit 0.04%; Binance, OKX, Gate, BingX and Pionex 0.05%; Bybit 0.055%; Bitget, KuCoin, HTX and XT 0.06%; WEEX 0.08%. On 1 million USDT of futures volume a month, all Taker, the fees before rebates are 200, 400, 500, 550, 600 and 800 USDT respectively. Futures fees are charged on position value, once when you open and again when you close; for the method, see how futures fees are calculated.
Bybit is not in the table above. Its VIP 0 perpetual futures rates are Maker 0.02% and Taker 0.055% (Bybit trading fee structure), and signing up with a referral code gives no rebate from the exchange to the invitee. To get part of your Bybit fees back, you can use a rebate site such as Fee Otter. That extra rebate is paid by Fee Otter, not by the exchange and not by Kevin Wu; the rate is whatever Fee Otter’s page shows at the time, and the steps are in Bybit fee rebate (Fee Otter).
Bitfinex, shown in the table, currently charges 0 trading fees on both spot and derivatives (Bitfinex fee page), so it is listed first. Its referral offer is a refund of margin funding and lending fees, not a trading fee rebate, so its rebate column shows “—”.
When you read futures rates, a few exchanges need extra attention:
- MEXC: 0%/0.02% is the standard rate on the fee page (MEXC fee overview), and MEXC notes that rates may be adjusted for promotions or by region. When I read MEXC’s public contract specification data on 2026-10-12, 890 USDT contracts showed 0%/0.02% and 103 showed zero fees, while 62 showed 0.01%/0.04% and 31 showed 0.04%/0.1%. Before trading small-cap coin contracts, check the rate on the trading page first.
- Ourbit: 0.04% is the general rate. Ourbit’s Taiwan VIP user fee notice lists the futures Taker rate for Taiwan VIP 0 as 0.05%; for a Taiwan account, the rate shown after you log in is the one that applies.
- WEEX: since 2025-05-30, 167 futures pairs have had higher Maker rates (0.03% to 0.08%), while Taker remains 0.08% (WEEX fee calculation guide).
- HTX: the HTX user agreement lists Taiwan among the regions where derivatives trading is prohibited, so HTX’s futures rates only matter in regions where you can trade futures.
Futures use leverage, and if the price moves against you, the position may be liquidated; fees are only part of the cost. To work out margin, leverage, number of trades and funding rates together, use the perpetual futures cost calculator.
Which exchange has the lowest spot fees?
The spot ranking is also sorted by Taker rate after rebate:
| Exchange | Standard spot taker fee | auto fee rebate | After the rebate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitfinex | 0% | — | 0% |
| Ourbit | 0% | — | 0% |
| MEXC | 0.05% | 20% | 0.04% |
| KuCoin | 0.1% | 60% | 0.04% |
| Pionex | 0.05% | 15% | 0.0425% |
| BingX | 0.1% | 45% | 0.055% |
| WEEX | 0.1% | 35% | 0.065% |
| Binance | 0.1% | 20% | 0.08% |
| OKX | 0.1% | 20% | 0.08% |
| Gate | 0.1% | 20% | 0.08% |
| Bitget | 0.1% | 20% | 0.08% |
| XT.COM | 0.2% | 35% | 0.13% |
| HTX | 0.2% | 30% | 0.14% |
Fees are each exchange's published VIP 0 taker rates; after the rebate = fee × (1 − automatic rebate). Rebate rates synced 2026-10-23. Actual fees vary by VIP level, pair and product; your exchange statement prevails.
Ourbit cut both spot Maker and Taker to 0% from 2024-09-03 (Ourbit spot zero-fee announcement). Since its spot trading has no fees in the first place, there is no spot rebate either, and the rebate rate in the table only applies to its futures. Official VIP 0 spot Taker at the other exchanges: MEXC and Pionex 0.05%; Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate, BingX, KuCoin and WEEX 0.1%; XT and HTX 0.2%. On 100,000 USDT of spot volume a month, fees before rebates come to one of four amounts: 0, 50, 100 or 200 USDT.
Spot is more likely than futures to run into “same exchange, different pair, different rate.” The table below lists the exceptions each exchange states officially:
| Exchange | VIP 0 spot Maker/Taker | Officially stated exceptions | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ourbit | 0%/0% | Zero fees on all spot pairs | Spot zero-fee announcement |
| MEXC | 0%/0.05% | 0.05% applies mainly to major coins; Taker on small-cap pairs is often 0.08%, and some reach 0.2% | Fee overview |
| Pionex | 0.05%/0.05% | Higher rates on US stock tokens and MEME tokens | Fee calculation method |
| OKX | 0.08%/0.1% | Standard pair rates; Maker is already cheaper than Taker at VIP 0 | Fee page |
| Binance | 0.1%/0.1% | USDC pairs: Taker 0.095% | Spot fee page |
| KuCoin | 0.1%/0.1% (Class A) | Class B coins 0.2%, Class C 0.3%, classified by the pair’s base coin | VIP fee structure |
| WEEX | 0.1%/0.1% | Zero fees on USDC/USDT spot | USDC/USDT zero-fee announcement |
| Bybit | 0.1%/0.1% | Fiat pairs 0.15%/0.2% | Trading fee structure |
| Bitget | 0.1%/0.1% | Standard rate; VIP and BGB discounts calculated separately | Trading fee FAQ |
| Gate | 0.1%/0.1% | Paying with Point cards costs a fixed 0.2%, more than VIP 0 | Fee page |
| BingX | 0.1%/0.1% | Zero fees on a few pairs; check the trading page | Fee page |
| XT | 0.2%/0.2% | Zero fees on USDT/USDC pairs from 2026-09-22 | USDT/USDC zero-fee announcement |
| HTX | 0.2%/0.2% | 0.15% with HTX or TRX fee deduction switched on | “My Fee Rate” page |
KuCoin stands out most in this table. On 2026-10-11 I counted KuCoin’s official trading pair data: of 968 pairs, 488 are Class A, 230 Class B and 250 Class C, so nearly half of all pairs carry a rate of 0.2% or 0.3%. If you only trade major coins such as BTC and ETH, KuCoin charges 0.1% like most exchanges; if you often buy small-cap coins, your actual rate may be 2 to 3 times the rate in the ranking table. The same applies to MEXC’s small-cap pairs. Zero-fee pairs have no fee to refund, so they earn no rebate either.
To buy crypto with a New Taiwan dollar (TWD) deposit, you need a Taiwanese exchange. Those are not in the ranking above; this site covers the referral codes and offers for MAX and BitoPro separately.
Which exchange has the lowest Maker fees?
Maker is simpler to rank than Taker: MEXC’s futures and spot Maker are both 0%, Ourbit’s spot is 0%, and every other exchange charges 0.02% futures Maker. Most people don’t place 100% Maker orders, though, so the table below also calculates a blended rate for “80% Maker, 20% Taker” and is sorted by that column:
| Exchange | Futures Maker/Taker | Blended rate at 80% Maker | 1 million USDT of futures a month | Spot Maker | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MEXC | 0%/0.02% | 0.004% | 40 USDT | 0% | Futures calculation guide |
| Ourbit | 0.02%/0.04% | 0.024% | 240 USDT | 0% | Fee announcement |
| Binance | 0.02%/0.05% | 0.026% | 260 USDT | 0.1% | Futures fee guide |
| OKX | 0.02%/0.05% | 0.026% | 260 USDT | 0.08% | Fee page |
| Gate | 0.02%/0.05% | 0.026% | 260 USDT | 0.1% | Fee page |
| BingX | 0.02%/0.05% | 0.026% | 260 USDT | 0.1% | Perpetual futures fee schedule |
| Pionex | 0.02%/0.05% | 0.026% | 260 USDT | 0.05% | Fee page |
| Bybit | 0.02%/0.055% | 0.027% | 270 USDT | 0.1% | Trading fee structure |
| Bitget | 0.02%/0.06% | 0.028% | 280 USDT | 0.1% | Futures order cost guide |
| KuCoin | 0.02%/0.06% | 0.028% | 280 USDT | 0.1% (Class A) | Fee page |
| HTX | 0.02%/0.06% | 0.028% | 280 USDT | 0.2% | “My Fee Rate” page |
| XT | 0.02%/0.06% | 0.028% | 280 USDT | 0.2% | VIP fee announcement |
| WEEX | 0.02%/0.08% | 0.032% | 320 USDT | 0.1% | Futures fees |
Blended rate = 0.8 × Maker + 0.2 × Taker; for Binance, that is 0.8 × 0.02% + 0.2 × 0.05% = 0.026%. If every trade is Taker, exchanges at 0.05% and 0.06% Taker differ by 0.01 percentage points; at 80% Maker the gap shrinks to 0.002 percentage points, just 20 USDT a month on 1 million USDT. WEEX costs 800 USDT if every trade is Taker and drops to 320 USDT at 80% Maker, less than the 500 USDT Binance costs with every trade as Taker. If you can trade as Maker, Taker can carry less weight when you choose an exchange. To make sure an order fills as Maker, tick Post Only (Maker only) when you place it; for details, see Maker vs Taker fees: what’s the difference.
A trade at 0% Maker has no fee, so it earns no rebate. MEXC’s Maker orders and Ourbit’s spot trades both fall into this case; rebates only come from Taker trades that are charged a fee.
Which exchange is cheapest after platform token discounts?
This covers only standing discounts that the exchanges state officially, not limited-time promotions. I calculated the discounted rates by applying each discount to the VIP 0 Taker rate:
| Exchange | Platform token | Spot Taker after discount | Futures Taker after discount | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MEXC | MX, 20% off | 0.04% | 0.016% | MX discount update announcement |
| Binance | BNB, 25% off spot, 10% off futures | 0.075% | 0.045% | BNB fee deduction guide |
| Bybit | MNT, 25% off spot, 10% off futures | 0.075% | 0.0495% | FAQ on paying fees with MNT |
| Bitget | BGB, 20% off spot | 0.08% | N/A (0.06%) | BGB deduction guide |
| KuCoin | KCS, 20% off spot and margin | 0.08% (Class A) | N/A (0.06%) | KCS deduction guide |
| Gate | GT, 10% off spot | 0.09% | N/A (0.05%) | Fee page |
| HTX | HTX or TRX, 25% off spot, 5% off futures | 0.15% | 0.057% | HTX token announcement, TRX deduction announcement |
| XT | XT, 25% off spot | 0.15% | N/A (0.06%) | VIP fee announcement |
| OKX, WEEX, Pionex, BingX, Ourbit | No platform token discount | Same as official rate | Same as official rate | OKX: OKB cannot be used to pay fees |
With platform token discounts switched on, the spot order is Ourbit 0%, MEXC 0.04%, Pionex 0.05%, Binance and Bybit 0.075%, Bitget and KuCoin 0.08%, Gate 0.09%, OKX, BingX and WEEX unchanged at 0.1%, and HTX and XT 0.15%. Futures change much less: MEXC drops to 0.016%, Binance, Bybit and HTX drop by only 0.003 to 0.0055 percentage points, and the other exchanges have no futures discount. So platform token discounts make a noticeable difference mainly on spot, and help little if you mostly trade futures.
A few notes: OKX states officially that OKB cannot be used to pay trading fees. WEEX’s WXT holding discount ended at the end of 2024 and was replaced by lower rates through VIP tiers (WEEX VIP fee launch notice). Pionex has no platform token, and BingX does not list a platform token discount officially. MEXC’s former 50% discount for holding 500 MX has been suspended since 2026-02-09, leaving only the 20% MX deduction discount. Bybit’s MNT discount does not apply to copy trading, API trading, trading bots or liquidation orders. You have to buy and hold a platform token first, and its price swings are also a cost, so buying one just for the discount is not necessarily worth it.
On how platform token discounts interact with referral rebates, only MEXC is explicit: rebates are calculated on net fees, meaning fees minus bonuses, vouchers and other discounts (MEXC referral rules), so the two multiply: actual cost = official rate × discount factor (0.8 for 20% off) × (1 − rebate rate). Binance, Bitget, Gate and KuCoin do not state whether rebates are calculated on the amount before or after the token discount. For how fee vouchers and rebates stack, see fee vouchers vs referral code rebates.
Why is the “lowest fee” different for everyone?
The ranking uses VIP 0 rates. Once your volume grows, the order changes, because each exchange sets different VIP thresholds and reductions. The table below shows the official futures rates (Maker/Taker) at OKX, BingX and Bitget for the same 30-day futures volume; all three happen to have thresholds at 5 million and 10 million:
| 30-day futures volume | OKX | BingX | Bitget |
|---|---|---|---|
| Below threshold (VIP 0) | 0.02%/0.05% | 0.02%/0.05% | 0.02%/0.06% |
| 5 million | VIP 1: 0.016%/0.045% | Elite: 0.018%/0.045% | VIP 1: 0.019%/0.06% |
| 10 million | VIP 2: 0.015%/0.036% | VIP 1: 0.014%/0.04% | VIP 2: 0.016%/0.04% |
Sources: OKX fee page (thresholds in USD), BingX fee page, Bitget fee page. All three also let you reach a tier through your asset balance; the conditions are in each exchange’s fee guide.
At 10 million USDT of futures volume a month:
- All Taker: OKX 3,600 USDT, BingX 4,000 USDT, Bitget 4,000 USDT. At VIP 0, OKX and BingX cost the same; at this volume, OKX is 400 USDT a month cheaper.
- All Maker: BingX 1,400 USDT, OKX 1,500 USDT, Bitget 1,600 USDT, so BingX becomes the cheapest.
- Half Maker: OKX 2,550 USDT, BingX 2,700 USDT, Bitget 2,800 USDT.
- If you still calculated with VIP 0 rates, the three would come to 5,000, 5,000 and 6,000 USDT (all Taker), overstating the cost by 25% to 50%.
Bitget has the most expensive Taker of the three at VIP 0, but at 10 million it costs the same as BingX. Bybit’s VIP 1 also requires 10 million USD of 30-day futures volume, and its Taker drops from 0.055% to 0.04% (Bybit trading fee structure). If you trade large volumes, compare the tier you will actually reach, not just VIP 0.
High volume also affects rebates. Binance’s referral commission only applies to regular users and VIP 1 to 2 and stops once you reach VIP 3 or above, and futures rebates only last for the 12 months after you open a futures account (this limit does not apply when the referrer’s commission rate is 30% or more; Binance Referral Pro FAQ). HTX also stops paying once an invitee reaches Prime 9 or above. The after-rebate calculation in the ranking tables only applies to accounts still within the rebate scope; for the trade-off between VIP tiers and rebates, see VIP tiers and referral code rebates.
Three other things also change the answer: the coins you trade most (KuCoin and MEXC charge more on small-cap coins), your region (the futures Taker for Ourbit Taiwan accounts, and HTX not allowing derivatives trading in Taiwan), and how often you trade short-term. XT’s promotion risk control rules state that trades opened and closed within 60 seconds lose their rebate (XT promotion risk control rules), and WEEX lists rapid opening and closing within 5 minutes as abnormal trading (WEEX abnormal trading policy). For very short-term trading at these two exchanges, your actual rate may simply be the official rate.
For detailed head-to-head comparisons, see Binance vs OKX, Binance vs Bybit, Bybit vs Bitget, BingX vs Bitget and MEXC vs Gate.

Rebate changes from past months are in the monthly exchange rebate rate report. Of the official fee changes over the past year, these affect the ranking in this article:
- 2026-09-22: XT moved its USDT/USDC spot pairs to zero fees and states officially that this is a long-term benefit (XT announcement).
- 2026-08-13: Gate launched 9 USD1-margined perpetual contracts with zero Maker fees and 25% off Taker during the promotion. These are USD1 contracts, a separate market from USDT perpetuals (Gate announcement).
- 2026-04-08: OKX lowered the volume thresholds for futures VIP 1 to 3, and the VIP 1 futures rate became 0.016%/0.045% (OKX announcement).
- 2026-03-05: XT switched to a new VIP tier system: VIP 0 is 0.2% on spot and 0.02%/0.06% on futures, and the VIP 1 futures Taker is 0.054% (XT announcement).
- 2026-02-09: MEXC suspended the 50% discount for holding 500 MX; the 20% MX deduction discount continues as before (MEXC announcement).
Update log
- 2026-10-15: Rechecked the futures and trading pair data published officially by Bitget, KuCoin, MEXC and Ourbit. Bitget’s 834 USDT futures contracts and KuCoin’s 701 futures contracts are all Maker 0.02% and Taker 0.06%; of MEXC’s USDT futures, 890 are 0% / 0.02% and 103 are zero-fee; Ourbit’s 752 futures contracts are all 0.02% / 0.04%, and its 878 spot pairs all have zero fees. These four exchanges’ VIP 0 rates are the same as checked on 2026-10-12, and the ranking hasn’t changed; the other 9 exchanges keep the results checked on 2026-10-12.
- 2026-10-13: First published. VIP 0 spot and futures rates for 13 exchanges, platform token discounts, and the VIP rates of OKX, BingX and Bitget checked against official pages (data check date 2026-10-12).
FAQ
Which exchange has the lowest fees?
On official VIP 0 rates, the lowest for futures is MEXC (Maker 0%, Taker 0.02%) and the lowest for spot is Ourbit (Maker and Taker both 0%). The ranking after referral rebates updates every day with the rebate rates; see the two ranking tables in this article. If you place a lot of Maker orders, trade large volumes or hold a platform token, the order changes again.
Which exchange has the lowest futures fees?
For VIP 0 USDT-margined perpetual futures, MEXC’s 0.02% Taker is the lowest, followed by Ourbit at 0.04%, then Binance, OKX, Gate, BingX and Pionex at 0.05%. The highest is WEEX at 0.08%. Some of MEXC’s small-cap coin contracts have higher rates, so go by what the trading page shows before you trade.
Which exchange has the lowest spot fees?
Ourbit currently charges zero fees on all spot pairs, which is also why it has no spot rebate. Next come MEXC and Pionex at 0.05% Taker; most exchanges charge 0.1%, and XT and HTX 0.2%. With platform token discounts switched on, MEXC is 0.04%, and Binance and Bybit are 0.075%.
Does a higher referral rebate rate mean lower fees?
Not necessarily. The actual rate is official rate × (1 − rebate rate), so an exchange with a high base rate may still cost more after the rebate, however high its rebate rate is. That is why this article ranks by the rate after rebate, not by the rebate rate; each exchange’s rate is listed in the exchange referral code overview.
Are Binance’s fees low?
They sit in the middle of the 13 exchanges. Binance’s VIP 0 rates are 0.1% on spot and Maker 0.02%, Taker 0.05% on USDT-margined futures; paying fees with BNB takes 25% off spot, to 0.075%, and 10% off futures, to 0.045%. Its futures Taker is higher than MEXC and Ourbit and lower than Bitget, KuCoin, HTX, XT and WEEX; for the full rates, see Binance fees.
Why isn’t Bybit in the ranking tables?
Because signing up for Bybit with a referral code gives no automatic fee rebate from the exchange, so there is no “after rebate” rate to calculate. Bybit’s VIP 0 rates are 0.1%/0.1% on spot and 0.02%/0.055% on perpetual futures. To get part of your fees back, you can use a rebate site such as Fee Otter; that rebate is paid by Fee Otter, not by the exchange and not by Kevin Wu.
Is the exchange with the lowest fees the best one for me?
Not necessarily. Trading fees are only part of the cost; withdrawal fees, funding rates, slippage, the coins you can trade and the platform’s security record all matter too. For USDT withdrawal fees, see the USDT withdrawal fee comparison; for each exchange’s security incidents, see exchange security records; for funding rates, see what is the funding rate.
How often is this fee ranking updated?
Rebate rates in the ranking tables sync with the exchanges every day, and the order updates automatically. Official rates and the article text are re-checked once a month, and the title shows the month of the latest update. Rebate rate changes are also recorded in the monthly exchange rebate rate report, and changes to official rates are added to this article’s update log.
To plug in your own volume and Maker share, use the perpetual futures cost calculator. For the detailed after-rebate method, see actual fees after referral code rebates, and for the futures fee formula, see how futures fees are calculated. Each exchange’s VIP tiers and platform token rules are covered in the fee guides for Binance, OKX, Bitget, MEXC, Ourbit and others; for each exchange’s referral code and rebate rate, see the exchange referral code overview.
