How to Deposit and Withdraw on WEEX: USDT Fees and Networks (2026)

Updated Rules checked 2026-10-22

The most common way to deposit on WEEX is to have USDT ready on another exchange or in a wallet, then go to “Assets” → “Deposit” → “On-chain deposit” on WEEX, copy the address and send the funds over on a network both sides support. If you don’t hold any crypto yet, you can use WEEX’s C2C (P2P) or Quick Buy. To withdraw (cash out), go to “Assets” → “Withdraw”, enter the address, choose the network and send the coins to your own wallet or another exchange; if the recipient is also a WEEX user, “Internal transfer” charges no fee.

The mistakes most likely to cost you money are choosing the wrong network, leaving out the Memo, and using an old deposit address. WEEX states that a deposit sent to the wrong address or network will not be credited, and that deposits made on a network WEEX doesn’t support (opBNB, for example) cannot be recovered. From December 2025, WEEX replaced its deposit addresses across the board; the old addresses expired on 2026-02-28, and funds sent to them after that “are at risk of permanent loss.”

Below I’ve put together the deposit and withdrawal steps on the website and the App, how to transfer between WEEX accounts, the USDT withdrawal fee on each network, and WEEX’s official guidance for stuck withdrawals, each with its official WEEX source.

Key points:
1. Coins from on-chain deposits, C2C and Quick Buy all land in the funding account on WEEX. To trade spot or futures, you first transfer them to the Spot Pro account or the futures account; transfers are free.
2. From WEEX’s official API on 2026-10-22: a USDT withdrawal costs 1.5 USDT on TRC20 (minimum 10 USDT), 0.5 USDT on ERC20 (minimum 20 USDT) and 0.05 USDT on BEP20 (minimum 5 USDT). Plasma and Optimism charge 0.015 USDT each, the lowest of the 11 networks.
3. WEEX states that the minimum USDT deposit on TRC20 and ERC20 is 1 USDT, and deposits below 1 USDT are not credited; for other coins, the minimum shown on the deposit page applies.
4. After you change your password, change your login device, withdraw from different devices within 24 hours, or apply to change a security setting, WEEX suspends withdrawals for 24 hours; they resume automatically when the time is up.
5. At VIP 0, the 24-hour withdrawal limit is 10,000 USDT with KYC1 and 1,000,000 USDT with KYC2. WEEX states that every withdrawal is reviewed manually and that large withdrawals may need a second confirmation; most are processed within 24 hours.

The information below was checked against official pages on 2026-10-22 (fact-check date) and is provided for your reference.

How to deposit on WEEX: USDT deposit steps

Before you start, decide which network the sending side will use; both ends must choose the same network. Button names follow WEEX’s official instructions; if the interface changes, go by what you see on screen.

  1. Log in to the WEEX App or website and go to “Assets” → “Deposit” → “On-chain deposit”.
  2. Choose the coin (USDT, for example) and the network. The network must match the one you select on the sending platform’s withdrawal page.
  3. Copy the deposit address or scan its QR code. Copy it fresh from the deposit page every time you deposit; don’t reuse an address you saved earlier.
  4. Paste the address on the sending platform, check the network once more and submit the withdrawal. If the page asks for a Memo (Tag) for that coin, fill in both the address and the Memo.
  5. Check the deposit status under “Assets” → “History”, or look up the transaction hash (TXID) in a block explorer.

These steps are based on WEEX’s deposit guide on avoiding losses from the wrong chain or token (updated 2025-09-18, Simplified Chinese page) and WEEX’s top 5 deposit Q&A (updated 2026-02-26). According to WEEX, funds usually arrive within 10 minutes once the required confirmations are reached; for some coins it depends on on-chain conditions.

What is the minimum deposit, and how many confirmations are needed?

WEEX states that the minimum USDT deposit on TRC20 and ERC20 is 1 USDT and that deposits below 1 USDT are not credited; for other coins, check the deposit page. On confirmations, WEEX’s own pages don’t agree: the deposit Q&A says ERC20 needs 12 confirmations and TRC20 needs 1, the withdrawal Q&A says TRC20 needs 10, and the official API on 2026-10-22 lists 20 for TRC20, 12 for ERC20 and 30 for BEP20. The number shown on the deposit page is the one that applies.

Can I still use my old deposit address?

No. Old addresses have been invalid since 2026-02-28. WEEX’s deposit address update notice states that from 2025-12-15, more than 20 networks, including BTC, ETH, BSC, TRX, SOL, TONCOIN, ARB and OP, switched to new deposit addresses. The notice retiring the old deposit addresses then set out the timeline: on 2026-02-16 the old addresses went offline, and deposits sent to them were no longer credited automatically; you had to contact support for manual handling, expected to take 1 to 2 business days. On 2026-02-28 the old addresses expired; funds sent to an expired address cannot be credited “and are at risk of permanent loss.”

So if the address book or whitelist on another exchange still holds a WEEX deposit address saved before December 2025, delete it now and replace it with the new address shown on the deposit page. Also, WEEX finished a wallet upgrade on 2025-10-10, after which EVM-compatible chains such as ETH, ARB, OP and BNB share a single deposit address (WEEX wallet service upgrade completed). The same address doesn’t mean any network will do: when you send, you still have to pick a network WEEX supports.

Can I recover a deposit sent on the wrong network or without a Memo?

It depends. Binance and MEXC recover some wrong-chain deposits for a fee, whereas WEEX states that deposits on unsupported networks cannot be recovered. WEEX’s notes on deposit addresses and wrong-chain deposits (updated 2025-12-02) state that if you deposit using a method or coin WEEX doesn’t support, “the coins cannot be recovered,” and that opBNB wrong-chain deposits “cannot be credited or recovered”; if you withdraw from WEEX to a wrong address, WEEX cannot recover it for you either. The deposit guide separates several cases: sending USDT over opBNB or X Layer leads to lost funds or funds that cannot be recovered; sending ETH to a USDT address means it won’t be credited and will be “handled manually, depending on the case”; and leaving out the Tag or Memo on a coin that needs one (WEEX cites XRP and EOS) causes the deposit to fail or arrive late.

There is one more mistake that is rare but can’t be undone: sending coins straight to a token’s contract address. WEEX on contract addresses and wallet addresses states that doing so “is equivalent to burning them, and they cannot be recovered.” If you left out a Memo or sent the wrong coin, have the TXID ready and contact online support. Recovery rules and fees at different exchanges are compared in what to do if you deposit on the wrong network, and terms such as network, Memo and transfer are explained in deposit and withdrawal terms explained.

Which account does my deposit go to, and how do I move it to spot or futures?

WEEX has a funding account, a Spot Pro account and a futures account. WEEX’s Spot Pro launch announcement states that funds from on-chain deposits and OTC purchases are credited to the funding account, and the WEEX glossary (updated 2026-02-05) defines the funding account as “the account used for deposits and withdrawals,” with the spot account for spot trading and the futures account for futures trading.

To trade, tap “Transfer” under “Assets” (“Fund transfer” in the App), choose the from and to accounts, the coin and the amount, and confirm. WEEX states that transferring the same coin between accounts carries “no fees of any kind” (WEEX futures fund transfer Q&A). Some older guides tell you to transfer to a per-pair account such as a “BTC/USDT futures account”; that is how the old futures product worked before it was shut down in November 2024, and today’s Futures Pro shares margin across multiple trading pairs. Futures are leveraged, and if the price moves against you, your position may be forcibly liquidated; see the WEEX futures guide for how it works. When you want to withdraw, remember to move the money back to the funding account first.

No USDT yet? How to buy crypto with fiat on WEEX

WEEX’s official pages list two ways to get crypto with fiat, and both require identity verification first (KYC; for the steps, see the WEEX KYC verification guide). The Quick Buy guide also states that these features or services may not be available in your region, so check what the page shows before you place an order.

  • C2C (P2P): on the website, open “C2C” from the navigation bar, choose “Buy”, the coin, the fiat amount and the payment method, pick a seller, place the order and pay, then click “Paid, notify seller”. Once the seller confirms receipt, the coins are released to your funding account (WEEX: how to buy crypto with C2C). The WEEX C2C FAQ states that there is no trading fee, but your payment tool may charge its own fees, and you can only trade fiat with users from the country or region of your KYC. Don’t write words such as “crypto”, “BTC”, “C2C” or “WEEX” in the payment note. Since November 2025 you can also sell coins for fiat on C2C. For the process and the risks, see the P2P crypto buying guide.
  • Quick Buy: on the website, click “Buy Crypto” → “Quick Buy” in the navigation bar; in the App, go to “Deposit” on the home screen or “Assets” → “Buy Crypto”. Choose the fiat currency, the coin and the payment channel, click “Buy crypto”, confirm the order, and you are sent to a third-party payment page to pay. WEEX states that this service is provided by third-party payment providers and that WEEX does not provide or process it; to buy with USD or a credit card, choose the Alchemypay channel (WEEX Quick Buy guide).

Two things to know about Quick Buy first. One: the WEEX Quick Buy Q&A says purchases are currently fee-free, but if the amount you actually pay differs from the order amount, the transaction will very likely fail. Two: the same page states that withdrawing right after buying “may trigger a withdrawal review and lengthen the wait for the withdrawal.” Paying by card also brings an overseas transaction fee from your bank; see credit card crypto fees for how it is calculated.

How to withdraw from WEEX: on-chain withdrawal steps

  1. Make sure the coin you want to withdraw is in the funding account; if it isn’t, transfer it back first.
  2. Go to “Assets” → “Withdraw” and choose the coin and the network. The network must match the one selected on the receiving side’s deposit page.
  3. Paste the withdrawal address (on networks that need a Memo, fill in the Memo as well) and enter the amount. Keep the amount to no more than six decimal places; the withdrawal Q&A states that more decimals will make the withdrawal unresponsive.
  4. Check the fee shown at the bottom of the withdrawal screen, submit, and complete the security verification (verification codes and so on).
  5. Wait for the review and the block confirmations. Your withdrawal history is under the icon at the top right of the “Assets” page, with the statuses Under review, Processing (sent to the blockchain), Completed and Rejected (assets returned).

These steps are based on WEEX’s top 10 withdrawal Q&A and the withdrawal process described in the WEEX glossary. Withdrawals are available 24 hours a day, but the Q&A states that “all of our withdrawals are reviewed manually,” and they are sent to the blockchain only after review. Large withdrawals “require extra processing time and we may confirm with the user a second time,” and WEEX says most are processed within 24 hours (WEEX single USDT withdrawal limit explained). How long a normal withdrawal takes is not officially stated.

Source: WEEX official API coin and network data, queried 2026-10-22, when all 11 USDT networks were open for deposits and withdrawals; fees cross-checked against the “Withdrawal fees” tab of WEEX’s fee schedule. Fees change, so go by what the withdrawal page shows before you withdraw.

The fee is a fixed amount per withdrawal, so the less you withdraw, the larger the percentage. Take a 100 USDT withdrawal: on TRC20 you pay 1.5 USDT, or 1.5%; on BEP20 you pay 0.05 USDT, or 0.05%; on Plasma you pay 0.015 USDT, just 0.015%. If you send 10 times a month, TRC20 costs 15 USDT in total and BEP20 costs 0.5 USDT, a 30-fold difference. ERC20’s 0.5 USDT fee isn’t expensive, but each withdrawal must be at least 20 USDT. All of this assumes the receiving side supports that network; not every exchange or wallet accepts Plasma or Optimism.

WEEX’s withdrawal Q&A states that the withdrawal fee “is collected by miners, not by the platform.” Whether the fee is deducted from the withdrawal amount or charged on top is not officially stated, so check the actual amount received shown on the withdrawal page before you submit. USDT withdrawal fees at different exchanges are compared in USDT withdrawal fees compared.

How much can I withdraw from WEEX per day?

From 2025-04-30, WEEX dropped its per-withdrawal cap and switched to a daily total limit, which depends on your VIP level and KYC level. According to WEEX’s VIP privileges page (updated 2026-02-12), the 24-hour withdrawal limit at VIP 0 is 10,000 USDT with KYC1 and 1,000,000 USDT with KYC2; at VIP 1 it is 50,000 and 5,000,000 USDT. The table only has KYC1 and KYC2 columns, so how much an account with no KYC at all can withdraw is not officially stated. The “50,000 USDT per withdrawal without KYC” rule you can still find online is an old rule that was scrapped in April 2025. Limits at different exchanges are compared in exchange withdrawal limits compared.

How do I save withdrawal addresses?

On the “Assets” → “Withdraw” page, click the notepad icon to the right of the “Enter withdrawal address” field, then click “Add address” below to save the address to your account; next time, click the same icon and pick it. WEEX splits addresses into two types: a “Regular address” is for withdrawing to other wallets or platforms, and an “Internal address” is for sending to other WEEX users (WEEX internal transfer Q&A).

For an extra lock, you can turn on “Address Management”. WEEX’s account security guide (in English, updated 2026-08-26) states that once it’s on, you can only withdraw to pre-approved addresses, and every new whitelist address has to be confirmed by email. That means the linked mailbox itself also needs a strong password and two-factor authentication; security settings at different exchanges are compared in exchange account security settings. In addition, WEEX’s withdrawal fund security notice states that if you are “changing the wallet address” and making a “large withdrawal” at the same time, you must first contact online support to confirm that it’s really you.

Is there a fee to send to another WEEX user?

No. If the recipient is also a WEEX user, choose “Internal transfer” on the “Withdraw” page, pick the coin, select the recipient’s account type, enter their account and the amount, enter the verification code and submit. WEEX’s internal transfer Q&A states that “internal transfers are free.” Arrival time and whether a transfer can be reversed are not officially stated, so check the recipient’s account character by character before you send. Who you can give your account and UID to, and when you shouldn’t, is covered in what an exchange UID is.

What to do if a WEEX withdrawal is stuck or fails

The table below lists the situations in WEEX’s official pages that can suspend or delay a withdrawal. Most are security mechanisms that lift once the time is up or the verification is completed.

Sources are linked in the table, checked 2026-10-22; the official API that day showed all 11 USDT networks open. If a withdrawal shows Completed but the recipient hasn’t received it, first look up the confirmations with the TXID in a block explorer, then contact the receiving platform. WEEX’s anti-counterfeit and scam notice states that once a withdrawal is completed, the digital assets belong to the receiving address.

More complex cases, such as an account restricted by risk control or a request for additional documents, are covered in what to do if your exchange account is frozen. Also be careful: WEEX’s security alert states that WEEX “will never charge users additional fees or deposits in any form,” and will never ask users for verification codes or fund passwords. Treat anyone who claims they can get you a “fast withdrawal,” or asks you to send money before you can withdraw, as a scammer. Common tactics are covered in fake exchange withdrawal scams, and in Taiwan you can call the 165 anti-fraud hotline to check.

FAQ

What is the minimum deposit on WEEX?

WEEX states that the minimum USDT deposit on TRC20 and ERC20 is 1 USDT, and deposits below 1 USDT are not credited. For other coins and networks, the minimum shown on the deposit page applies. The sending side has its own minimum withdrawal too; for example, a TRC20 withdrawal from WEEX must be at least 10 USDT.

Which network is cheapest for withdrawing USDT from WEEX?

In the official API on 2026-10-22, Plasma and Optimism were the cheapest at 0.015 USDT per withdrawal. Among the common networks, BEP20 costs 0.05 USDT and TRC20 costs 1.5 USDT, 30 times as much as BEP20. Before choosing, make sure the receiving side supports that network, and check the minimum withdrawal: at least 5 USDT on Plasma and at least 10 USDT on Optimism.

How long does a WEEX withdrawal take to arrive?

WEEX doesn’t state a fixed processing time for withdrawals; it only states that every withdrawal is reviewed manually first and sent to the blockchain after review. Large withdrawals may need a second confirmation, and WEEX says most are processed within 24 hours. Once a withdrawal is on-chain, the speed depends on the network’s confirmations; for example, the official API lists 20 confirmations for TRC20.

Why can’t I withdraw from WEEX after changing my password?

After security actions such as changing your password, changing your login device or withdrawing from different devices within 24 hours, WEEX suspends withdrawals for 24 hours if it detects an abnormal login record, and they resume automatically when the countdown ends. Applying to change a security setting, such as resetting Google Authenticator, also blocks withdrawals for 24 hours. Don’t trust anyone who claims they can lift it early.

Can I withdraw from WEEX without KYC?

This is not officially stated. WEEX’s withdrawal limit table only has KYC1 and KYC2 columns, which at VIP 0 are 10,000 and 1,000,000 USDT per 24 hours respectively, with no figure for unverified accounts; C2C and Quick Buy explicitly require KYC first. If you plan to cash out, completing KYC first is the safer choice.

What’s the cheapest way to move coins between two WEEX accounts?

Use “Internal transfer” on the “Withdraw” page to send to another WEEX user; there is no fee. An on-chain withdrawal costs 1.5 USDT per withdrawal on TRC20, for example. Internal transfers require a verification code, and their arrival time and whether they can be reversed are not officially stated, so check the recipient’s account character by character before you send.

Can I withdraw directly from my WEEX futures account?

You first transfer the funds from the futures account back to the funding account, then withdraw from the funding account. The WEEX glossary defines the funding account as “the account used for deposits and withdrawals.” Internal transfers between accounts are free, and the path is “Assets” → “Transfer”.

Can I still use a WEEX deposit address I saved earlier?

No. From 2025-12-15 WEEX replaced the deposit addresses on more than 20 networks; the old addresses went offline on 2026-02-16 and expired on 2026-02-28. Funds sent to an old address after that cannot be credited and are at risk of permanent loss. Copy the address fresh from the WEEX deposit page every time you deposit, and update any old addresses in other exchanges’ address books too.

If you don’t have a WEEX account yet, the sign-up steps and referral code are in WEEX referral code; identity verification steps are in the WEEX KYC guide, trading fees and VIP levels in WEEX fees, and reserves and security record in WEEX review. For the security settings worth turning on before you withdraw, see exchange account security settings. For deposit and withdrawal guides on other exchanges, see how to deposit and withdraw on Gate, how to deposit and withdraw on MEXC and how to deposit and withdraw on Bitget.
